"Just because we don't have the right words to describe an emotion at present,
That doesn't make it any less real............."

Moon was nowhere to be seen in the sky, maybe because it was veiled in the murky darkness. Rolling and tossing grey clouds approached, who were continuously jostling amongst each other causing random loud thunder clanging with sudden flashes of light in between. Shivery bone - chilling gale was howling all around, as if it was checking angrily whether all the doors and windows were closed or not. Trees on the street were swaying, as if dancing, perhaps trying to calm down the howling wind.

Soon the acoustic buzz of dispersing small light raindrops over various surfaces started reaching Manjiri's ears.... Strong gusts of wind were disturbing her hair constantly, and she was absolutely loving the feel of wind through her hair. The rain pounded down relentlessly, blowing sideways from the strength of the wind.
Rain always bring an inexplicable ecstasy, it inadvertently lifts up the mood... And why not, after all rain is synonymous to happiness. Especially when you sense the first few cool drops of drizzling rain on your face, that feeling is incomparable....
Truly incredible!

"Are you planning to soak in the rain?"

Hearing Shaurya's voice she turned around. At then she found him busy looking at his phone, and much to her discontent he did not even raised his head as he asked this. Rolling her eyes on his nonchalant behaviour, she chose to ignore his question and again turned to face the whisking wind.

After a few seconds she sensed Shaurya's presence right behind her, but surprisingly instead of getting alarmed... this time a dim smile made it's way on her lips unconsciously. A short while later suddenly she felt his fingers raking through her hair and gathering them all together in his fist tenderly.... She immediately turned and faced him with a questioning look,

"What???
They were again and again getting inside my eyes... also they were slapping my face and neck."

Manjiri slightly widened her eyes in disbelief at his totally queerish and offbeat clarification.
Tying up her hair into a disorganized sloppy bun, she looked away in indignation.

"If you're done frowning then get inside and close the door....
Otherwise when the rain will turn heavy, water will come inside the room and make it muddy."

With this Shaurya got back to the room.
After performing an eye - roll on his fussy and cleanliness freak temperament, she too got inside the room and locked the balcony's door gingerly.

Manjiri wrapped her comforter around herself and laid lazily on the bed as she watched Shaurya gazing his laptop's screen while being seated at his desk. Cursing him in her heart she closed her eyes to sleep, no longer planning to care about him.

_

It was unknown at after how many minutes Shaurya finally finished his work and decided to sleep. After rechecking the latch of the balcony's door, he made his way towards the bed careful with his footsteps..... probably because he didn't want to wake Manjiri up from her sleep.

But on the contrary, Manjiri couldn't sleep. Therefore Shaurya's extra carefulness was completely useless at that moment. After switching off the lights, he lay down beside her and sighed softly. To which she slightly opened her eyes and peeked in his direction.

"Manjiri!"

Whispering her name softly he turned towards her direction.

"I've fallen asleep....
Hence I'm not listening to you."

Hearing her silly reply filled with unspeakable annoyance and displeasure towards him, Shaurya shook his head in utter amusement. He really enjoys her absolutely riled and super infuriated temper, as at least it was far better than her blankness and muted self.

"Really?
Then who is answering me.... Your ghost?
Huh?"

"Hmm!"

"Oh I see!"

Smiling and muttering this he too closed his eyes in order to let peaceful slumber engulf him.

But deep down in his heart, at then he realized that possibly the dynamics of their relationship is slowly but surely advancing and transforming....
And the best part was that he was literally hankering in inclining towards this penchanting change. Suddenly his inner voice questioned him,
"You shouldn't be fond to this change this much, and that to this soon.....
Or are you the only one falling here???"

"Even the stars have to fall then you and me are only mere humans..........."

At midnight, the sky got filled with heavy showers, it was literally raining cats and dogs persistently from last several hours. Due to this the temperature of the surrounding had fallen a few degrees.

Feeling frozen to the bone all of a sudden Manjiri woke up, and couldn't find her comforter on herself. She turned her eyes to his side only to find him sleeping soundly by being fully wrapped with her... yes 'her' comforter over his head.

Shaurya being overly obsessed with the air conditioning, never used to sleep with a blanket..... but today sensing the surrounding temperature slightly going down, he too had obviously felt slight nip in the air and as a result probably felt the urge to cover himself.

Manjiri's sleepy head kind of got irritated and frustrated witnessing the sight in front of her. How badly she wanted to snatch her comforter back and push him off the bed at that instant, but when humanity inside her pleaded she dropped the plan and got up in defeat.

Huffing at him she wondered while opening the cupboard,
"Weird pirate!
Who the hell on earth snatches this? No manners at all... Will not talk to him from now on for sure...."

Cold and irritated she got back to the bed and lay down enveloping herself in a brown warm light blanket, which she pulled out from the cupboard. After throwing a dirty look, full of infuriation, to his entirely cloaked form; she sighed helplessly in her heart shutting down her heavy eyelids.

"Find someone who enjoys irritating........ but hates hurting you and your heart!"

Manjiri woke up to a vacant side beside her. She sat up running a hand through her hair, knitting her eyes in perplexity she looked around.... Well it was a bit unusual as it was her who always got up early in the morning before him.
She got up and instinctively looked towards the closed balcony door, standing by the window she looked out and found out that it was still raining today. The sky was fully devoid of sunlight to shine in the day, there were dark dense turbulent clouds all around. She then chanced a glance at the clock hanging on the front wall and saw that it was striking almost 7 in the morning.

Picking up her fresh clothes from the wardrobe, she then walked into the washroom and immediately took a notice of the steamed shower walls, indicating that Shaurya took a shower not so long ago. After a quick scrub she came out and arranged the bed. Organizing and setting down the pillows properly, she then walked out of the room and made her way down the stairs.

"What a pleasant morning it is...
Isn't it?"

Dev said unleashing his infamous megawatt smile on Manjiri as he joined her in descending the staircase together.

"Morning Bhaiya!....
Well isn't it a little early for you?"

Manjiri inquired with a hint of tease in her voice.

"I know right!
Remember the most incredible thing about miracles is that they do happen......."

"Certainly!"

Both chuckled a little on each other's witty jocular remarks.

"The clouds might block the sunlight......
But remember they are the only one who bring the gentle comforting rain along with them."

Nothing can be more beautiful and relaxing than a holiday spent at home with family while on the other hand the rain make outside world equally enchanting.....

"What is this?
My pretty young lady is still muffled up in her warm cozy blanket.....
This is so not done!"

On entering Kaveri Dadi's room, Dev climbed up the bed and said this while slightly pulling off the blanket from his Dadi's half sitting and half lying form....
With a tea tray in her hands Manjiri looked around the room, she saw Shaurya sitting on the couch beside the bed. With the TV's remote in his hand, he was flipping through the various channels.

"Let me be like this only....
This damn weather has suddenly dropped.....that it jammed my knees."

"You're so delicate Dadi...
Ok at least get up and have your favorite ginger tea."

Saying this Dev got up and went near the large oriel window. Opening it's glass panes he admired the view of their drenched small garden which was proudly showing off it's rinsed greenery that day.

"Apart from teleshopping they'll not show anything this early in the morning.... So Shaurya Bhai instead of wasting your time on it, let me play some melodious romantic rain songs on the speaker."

"No need!"

Shaurya replied in a low stern voice still flipping through the channels.

"Bhai how thoughtless and hard - headed you are?
People turn romantic in rain but you..... Well let it be!"

"This persistent heavy rain is nothing but a invitation to useless fever......"

Shaurya casually answered Dev, totally ignoring his previous comment.

"Dadi I'm telling you this unromantic kind of person truly deserved to be a bachelor for lifetime.....
We mistakenly married him and spoiled this girl's life.
I feel sorry for you Miru Bhabhi!"

Dadi laughed hard on Dev's hysterical comment.
While Manjiri who had no intention to exchange even a word or smile to Shaurya, surprisingly looked at him after hearing Dev's chucklesome words and tried stifling her laugh.

"Shut your mouth you moron!"

After giving a hot glare Shaurya screamed on Dev.
But now it was their Kaveri Dadi's turn to yell.

"Why will he shut up... You shut up Shaurya.
Dev is absolutely right!
Dev bachha you feel free to play whatever you want to play.... But first play 'Rimjhim Gire Saawan'! "

"Oh the same song which our Dadaji used to adore.....
Sure Dadi, why not!"

Rim jhim gire saawan,
Sulag sulag jaaye man!
Bheege aaj is mausam mein,
Lagi kaisi yeh agan.

Soon the speakers started playing the song which made Dadi pleased and relaxed. Laying down she softly hummed the song.
Looking at Dadi's eased up expressions and faint smile glued face, Manjiri realized one thing and that was whether your beloved stays by your side or not..... but if it was a real unconditional love then it will always make you feel enough! Always make you feel adequate!
Your love's sweet unforgettable memories will never fail to make you feel complete, loved and accompanied.
And at then, according to her perhaps this was the only way to experience love in it's deepest form.

While thinking all this unconsciously her gaze shifted only for it to lock with those pair of eyes who were trying to read her face and mind keenly. Her heart picked up pace when she saw unfamiliar warm emotions passing through his eyes...... And his those emotions accidentally made her ignite some trailblazing sensations which she never knew existed in her.

"You, me, romantic songs, memories and most importantly the rain.....
What else needed???"
