The small town of Cedar Cove, it's a cute little town where everyone knows everyone. The college campus is right outside of town and nothing threatening has ever happened here. Until they showed up. But the night started out as any, all the kids were going to the top of the world. It was a place for all the teens to go make out. Mike was going with his girlfriend Debbie, while his sister was going to stay at home. "Mike, I'm so bored. Can't I just go out with Rich and Paul?" Marty asked her older brother. "No. Just stay here. I won't be out long." Mike replied. Marty rolled her eyes and said "you never let me do anything." Mike felt bad and said "why don't you just come with me?" Marty made a face and said "on your date? With Debbie?" Mike shrugged and said "why not?" "Can't you just drop me off with Rich and Paul?" "I'm supposed to pick up Debbie, so I can't." He said. Marty huffed and said "fine. I'll go with you on your stupid date." Mike sighed and said "Debbie won't mind. Plus, you and I can hang out with Rich and Paul tomorrow." Marty nodded and walked away from her brother. She always hung out with her older brother and his two best friends growing up. Mike was always cooler than them. Rich and Paul were the two guys who always told jokes in class and couldn't get girls. Marty always thought the two of them were hilarious when everyone else thought they were annoying and not funny.

Marty's best friend Misty was going on a date with one of Mike's best friend's, Sean. Misty pulled her hair up into a ponytail and her younger sister Margo said "you're getting all dolled up for this boy." "You'll understand when you're older." Misty replied. Margo flipped her hair and said "I understand. Boys are cute." I chuckled at her. A knock at the door was heard and Misty said "you'll be ok here?" "You're only gonna be gone a couple of hours. I'll just watch some tv or something." Margo said. Misty went to the door and there stood Sean. "Hey." He said to her. Misty stared at him, his brown hair blowing in the wind. "Hey." Misty said. "You ready to go? We're meeting Mike up there." Sean said, jutting a thumb over his shoulder. "I'm ready. Let's go." Misty said. Margo pushed her older sister out of the house and closed the door, locking it. Sean chuckled and Misty said "my sister." "She's cute." Sean said. Misty rolled her eyes and said "she can when she wants to be." No one knew this Friday night was about to turn into a night of hell and that killer clowns would turn half the town into cotton candy cocoons.
