I don't like hugs.

It's so awkward.

Just wrap your tentacles around someone and have little to no space between you and they do the same and you're just standing there for three seconds like what are you even doing.

But I do it because I want to show my affection to someone and this is how humans do it. But then I'm awkward and I make it awkward and then what's even the point of the hug.

I have a different way of showing affection.

I pat someone's head.

Just hear me out

I do this thing with my loved ones (friends and family) where I just come up and place my palm on their head. Like it's not even patting, I just put my hand on their head.

It's just me saying 'Hello, friends. I have arrived and I love you.'

That's what I do.

I hope my friends don't think I'm weird. They haven't said anything about it but I just noticed that it's not something other people do. I think it's cute of myself. I am allowed to think I'm cute alright.

So what do you guys do???
