I'm in rare pair hell and I do not intent to get out

It has come to my attention that I have not been clear as to why this sudden change has happened. Therefore I shall explain.

As we all know Danny is an adorable muffin who would do about anything to protect people. He doesn't always do the right thing but he learns quickly and improves. He doesn't let himself be trampled on unless it's for a real reason. For example: Dash. At first, Danny kept getting his revenge through the means of pranks. Not any straight up confrontation, but by using his powers to play embarrassing pranks on him. Later though, he learned his lesson and even apologized to the bully (only to get bullied again, but he let that happen). So now Danny just sucks it up or tells him off at his face. He would instantly stand up for his friends though.

Star only ever hangs around Paulina. She does everything and anything Paulina does and as far as we know she has no real life of her own. She can't stand up for herself or others. We've only seen a bit of rebellion when she competed against Paulina to please Danny in the episode where princess Dora appears. Danny is supposed to choose someone to be the winner in a beauty pageant (or smth). Star knows exactly what he wants. (This part only enforces my love for this ship).

But apart from that, she's always been Paulina's shadow.

The point is: Star can't stand up for herself. She could be a sweet, caring girl if she didn't do everything Paulina said and got herself a life. Danny is a sweet caring boy who could protect her from other kids and let her be herself and grow into her full potential.

Star is completely capable of fighting as we've seen in 'Pirate Radio' where the students fight Ember and Youngblood under the leadership of Danny. She didn't complain Danny's role and orders, but followed his lead.

In the above scene she chants:
We hate pirates, yes we do!
We hate pirates how 'bout you?!
...
I have a feeling she would like Danny's puns and comebacks.

She and Danny would make a great team.

I decided Sam wouldn't be that great for a pair with him because have YOU LOOKED AT HER CHARACTER?!?

She's a great girl, don't get me wrong, but she's so fiercely independant. She wouldn't be able to handle Danny's overprotective nature. She is a rebellious woman who makes her own decisions and doesn't want anybody to hold her back.

Now that I think about it, most girls in Danny Phantom are like this. (Dump Skulker, Ember. You go be your own woman)

However, Star would appreciate Danny being as he is. She would let him make the plans, probably put her input a bit, and she would fight alongside him.

Besides, A-lister and loser....imagine the drama.
