[Chris's POV]

It was finally the day of tour.

I couln't get a dormant Lily out of bed, but she still managed to pack almost 5 heavy bags full of her stuff last night, and a bookbag.

The only thing she got from her mother. Ashley always packed EVERYTHING. Well,at least she's not like Keirana that is 100% Ashley, leaving Lily to only 1%.

Soon it was time to go and Lily still refused to get up, so I just sent Brandon to get her.

He came back with her sleeping over his shoulder.

"Dude?" I asked.

"She asked me to carry her," he said. "You know she taks in her sleep?"

"I'll get her a monster later then," i said. "And really?"

He nodded and we got in the bus, Brandon laying Lily down in my bunk, which me and her will be sharing since the bus company accidently got us a bus with minus 1 bunk.

Soon we were all packed in the bus and hitting the road.

We decided to continue on the songs we've been having trouble with figuring out, which is basically 3. One we were gonna call "Underdog" is what's giving us more trouble.

"Damn, nothing," Ricky sighed.

"Chris, try it again," Ghost said.

I nodded and grabbed the lyric sheet.

I was the last choice, no voice, regular kid

Just livin' out each day and layin' low

But then I looked at myself, and saw that I wanted more

So I assembled my troops and I stood up to the world

Now I'm the full grown man that you love to hate

And yeah you doubted me, and now I'm laughing in your face

You're hoping I fail at life, but you're just pressing your luck

'Cause the greatest part of me is that I don't give a fuck!

"Wait, wait, it doesn't seem like its fitting well," Balz groaned.

"What s?" I asked, grabbing a pen.

"All of it. Lyrics don't seem right, it makes the rhythm sound out of tune... I think we can fixthe tune but the lyrics.... They don't seem to set in," Ghost said, shaking his head.

It was then Lily walked in, sipping some Monster and looking like she came out of hte shower, wearing a Misfits tshirt and some shorts.

"Hey guys, what's up?" she asked.

"Having problems figuring out this song," I said, biting the end of my pen as I look at the lyrics.

"Mind if I see?? Maybe I can help," Lily said.

"You write songs??" Ricky asked.

"Uh, duhh," she said, pointing to me.

The guys nod in agreement as Lily scanned the page.

"Hmm.... Well, you guys do need to add and take out and fix some stuff, and you guys seem to be missing a chorus," she said.

"Yeah, we've been having soem trouble with it," I said.

"Well, maybe I cna try something. Be right back," she said, taking the sheet and running to the bunk room, then coming back with a composition notebook covered in band stickers and pictures.

She flipped some pages and left it open to a book of scribbles she had.

"Does anyone have the tune for a chorus??" SLily asked.

"Uuhh, yeah, me," Ricky said, and played it. "We've been trying lyrics for it."

"Ok, cool, do it again," Lily said, and Ricky started the song.

Then.... Lily sang.

I will defend that, i am the vanquished, and you will not make my decisions

I won't pretend that, I'm not a victim of a world that will not listen

They will fall, Nothing that I can't overcome

Conquer the battles one by one, crushing the head of what's become

I'm screaming at the top of my lungs.

We al sat around, looking at her with out jaws dropped. Ryan Ashley, Jessica, Kylie, Ashley, and Allie even had surprised looks on their faces.

"So...?" she asked.

"That... sounded... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!" Ricky exclaimed.

"You have a fuckign amazing voice, Lily ONyx!!!" Ryan said happily.

"You think??" she asked blushing

"Baby girl, you have a beautiful voice," I said, pulling her into my arms for a hug.

"Thanks, Dad," she said.

"Hey, maybe Lily can perform this song with us," Balz suggested.

"Oh, I don't know, guys," she said sounding nervous.

"Oh come on, it'll be fun," I urged.

She thought it over, then nodded. "Okay," said.

"Woohoo!!!" I said, kising her cheek.

"But let's finish the song and let Lily fix it a bit," Ghost said.

We all then got to work, Lily fixing some of the lyrics and/or rewriting and adding stuff.

Soon, it was done. And it was awesome.

And I felt more than proud of Lily.
