Dimitri was seen looking at a newspaper at the plaza as he looked at an article.

Dimitri: Hey guys look at this.

He then showed the group the newspaper as Ashton saw it.

Dimitri: No! Not that one, *points at an article* This one. There's been reports of safe robberies around town. And here's the interesting part of it, the safes were all open like the robbers knew the combos.

Ashton: Guess we found our next mystery.

???: Am I interrupting something?

They all turned and saw a girl with red hair and a group of students in school uniforms

Ashton: How may we help you today Ms. Gremory?

Dimitri: You know her Ash?

Ashton: She used to give me money for food when I was in Japan.

Dimitri: Oh, that makes sense. So Ms. Gremory what brings you here?

Rias: Please, call me Rias. Ms. Gremory was my mom. And I just couldn't help but overhear your conversation about safe robberies and I was wondering if you'd be interested in a job.

Dimitri: Oh that sounds nice.

Fred: And it could help with getting the parts for the van Jury Rigg took apart.

Dimitri: I said I was sorry!

Rias: As I was saying, I was wondering if you all would be interested in working at a construction site my family is working on.

Dimitri: We would love to help.

Rias: Thank you and maybe you all would like to come to my penthouse for some lunch.

Shaggy: Like that's a swell idea.

Scooby: Reah.

Rias: Oh, I didn't know you had a dog.

Scooby: Dog? *looks around* Where?

Jessica: Are you allergic to dogs?

Akeno: No, Koneko is a cat person. Literally.

Shaggy: Like don't worry about that, Scooby is great with cats. Right?

Scooby: Huh? *sees Shaggy nodding* Oh, Yes I am.

Rias: Excellent. Come with us.

We then see them going to a penthouse as we see them going inside as a female anthropomorphic fox in a maid outfit was seen folding some clothes.

Dimitri: This is a nice place you have here, Rias.

Rias: Why thank you, that is very kind of you to say Dimitri.

Dimitri: Well, mom did tell me that I should be polite to girls.

Rias: Oh, your mother sounds like a very wise woman.

Ashton: Dude. The maid is drop dead gorgeous.

They then saw Koneko.

Scooby: Rat!

He then ran at Koneko as she then started to run away from Scooby as the two ran around the room as they ran past folded clothes as Scooby ran through them making some hit the maid.

Carmelita: Hey you mutt! I just cleaned those!

Ashton: Here let me help.

He then helped pick up the clothes as Scooby chased Koneko to a shelf with vases as he jumped on it making it break as the vases fell while some break as Shaggy caught one of them.

Akeno: Great with cats huh?

Shaggy: *chuckles* Scooby Doo stop!

Carmelita: I spent a whole week polishing those vases!

She then saw Koneko run by as she saw Scooby running towards her when he notices Ashton grab him

Ashton: Sit Scooby! Bad Scooby! Don't eat the Kitty! Sorry about this Ms?

Carmelita: Carmelita.

Ashton: Carmelita, that's a nice name. Matches your pretty face.

Dimitri: And sorry about the damage Rias.

Akeno: Don't worry, Carmelita will take care of it.

Kara: Carmelita?

Akeno: Our new maid. Your friend is flirting with her.

Ashton: I'll help her out. Two heads are better than one right?

Rias: Well if you all are going to be here you will have to do something about your dog.

Shaggy: Like, food always keeps Scooby occupied.

Rias: If it will keep him from chasing Koneko, be my guest.

They then walked to the kitchen as the others noticed Carmelita.

Carmelita: I'll take care of it. Maid.

Ashton: You guys go to the construction site. I'll stay here with Carmelita and the boys.

Dimitri: Alright.

We then see them going to a construction site.

Dimitri: This is neat Rias, I didn't know your family were the types to build these types of buildings.

Rias: This is a hospital for the disenfranchised people of the city.

Dimitri: Well that is a new surprise, your family cares about people.

Nonon: Dimitri, quit flirting with the redhead.

Satsuki: Be silent Nonon.

Nonon: My apologies, lady Satsuki.

Rias: Well we have been experiencing technical difficulties with construction.

Dimitri: Like what?

Rias: All the workers were scared away by I can't believe it myself but a phantom.

Dimitri: A phantom? Well don't you worry about a single ruby red hair on your head Rias, we happen to be mystery solvers in our spare time.

KO: Uh Rias. Did anyone mention what the phantom looks like?

Rias: Well they say he wears an old timey black suit, has white hair, blue skin, and wears a bright red cape. Why?

Dimitri: We just needed to know what this phantom looks like whenever we run into it.

???: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

They all turned and saw the phantom as he was seen at the construction site standing on a beam above them.

Hal: It's the phantom!

KO: Run!

They then began to run with the phantom after them as they were seen running they hid in a pile of old wood planks as the phantom ran past them as he was gone as Dimitri popped out.

Dimitri: Ok, he's gone now.

They then came out of the pile.

Enid: We better go tell Ash about this.

We then go to the penthouse as we see Scooby and Shaggy were eating at the kitchen table with Carmelita and Ashton talking to each other

Ashton: So how come a pretty lady like yourself is working for the Gremory family?

Carmelita: Oh, I have my reasons.

Ashton: Don't worry Inspector. Your secret is safe with me.

Carmelita: Oh well, thank you.

We then see Scpoby and Shaggy walk out of the kitchen as Scooby then notices Koneko at the couch.

Scooby: Rat. *growls*

Then Koneko saw him as she began to run away as Scooby began to chase her around the living room knocking down furniture as they ran out the room.

Shaggy: Come back Scoob! *starts picking up furniture* That grouchy maid isn't gonna be happy about this! *notices Carmelita making out with Ashton* Never mind.

We then see Scooby chasing Koneko through a hallway as she ran into a room as Scooby doo went in it and saw it was empty as Shaggy caught up with him.

Shaggy: Like, what is it, Scooby?

Scooby: She's gone.

They then started to go in the room and look around in it.

Shaggy: Like you sure this is where she ran in Scoob?

Scooby: Yeah.

Shaggy: Well looks like she's gone now. Let's go back to the others, Scooby.

They then started to walk to the door as they then heard something.

???: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

They then turned and saw the phantom.

Shaggy: Zoinks! Like let's get out of here Scoob!

They then ran out of the room as they started to run through the hallway as we then see Carmelita walking to the hallway with a drink in her hand until she was knocked down by Scooby and Shaggy as they bumped into her.

Shaggy: Like are we glad to see you.

Scooby: Yeah.

Carmelita: What are you two doing in there? Ruining more of my cleaning?

Shaggy: If you want to clean something, there's a dusty ghost following us.

Carmelita then looked at the hallway and saw nothing was there.

Carmelita: Where? I don't see anything.

Then footsteps were heard as they saw the group coming.

Dimitri: What happened guys, we could hear you screaming from outside.

Ashton: They said that they saw a ghost.

Dimitri: Did it have a suit, with white hair and blue skin?

Shaggy: Yeah, it did.

Dimitri: That must have been the phantom, where did you two see him?

They then went to the room.

Shaggy: We went in that room, saw him and ran out and then we ran into her. *points at Carmelita*

Velma: What were you doing?

Carmelita: My job, I was taking a break from cleaning, talked with Ashton, got thirsty and went to get a drink. And came back to find these two. *points at Shaggy and Scooby*

Ashton: What happened with you guys?

Dimitri: Rias showed us the building they were working on and we got chased by the phantom.

Ashton: Heavy.

Fred: We should all go look for clues.

Ashton: Good call Fred.

As they were walking Dimitri noticed something out of the window.

Dimitri: Hmmm.

KO: What is it, Dimitri?

Dimitri: Notice the window, does something seem interesting to you?

KO then looked at the window as he then saw the window had a view of various buildings.

KO: Hey, you're right. I can see many buildings.

Ashton: Some of them are the ones that were robbed!

Dimitri: Exactly, and this penthouse has a clear view of them all.

Jessica: Looks like we found our first clue.

Ashton: We better go to that construction site, maybe we can find more clues there.

We later see the gang as they were going to the construction site as we see Ashton looking through the documents about the building

Ashton: Ok it says here that a really old house that used to be here before they started building here and had to move it.

Hal: Where did they move it to?

Ashton: Says here that they moved it to the outskirts of town.

Kara: What's so important about that old house?

Ashton: It could explain why the phantom is haunting Rias' building.

Dimitri: Then we should go take a look there.

We then see them going to the outskirts of town as they were seen going to an old house.

Hal: So who should knock first

Dimitri: Knocker say what?

Hal: What?

Jessica: Thanks for volunteering Hal.

Hal: Wait what?

Dimitri then pushed Hal to the door.

Dimitri: Just do it.

Hal then turned to the door as he then was about to knock when the door opened to reveal an old woman

???: Yes?

Hal: Uh we were here to ask you some questions.

Jessica: What Hal is trying to say is if you know something about this phantom that's haunting a construction site.

Netty: Oh that's just my great great great grandfather Ebenezer. And I'm his great great great granddaughter Netty Crabbe.

Diana: Oh, well may we come inside to this lovely old home?

Netty: Yes, come in.

They then walked inside as Shaggy bumped into a bust of the Phantom

Shaggy: Zoinks! It's that geezer Ebenezer!

Dimitri: Shaggy. That's a statue.

Shaggy: Oh.

Hal: Hey look at this.

Shaggy, Scooby and Rad then came to Hal as he was seen looking in a book.

Hal: I found this book, listen to this mumbo jumbo. It says it's supposed to turn people into monsters.

Rad: Read it dude.

Hal: A crow goes caw, a toad goes beep, hocus pocus you're a creep.

Then the four were turned into monsters as they started laughing.

Hal: Isn't that ridiculous?

Scooby: Yeah, ridiculous.

Hal: The antidote is even kooiker. Lemonade in the cellar, cookies on the shelf, come on feller turn back to yourself.

They then changed back to normal as Velma came out of the closet

Velma: No clues in there.

Dimitri: No luck then. Hmm, think Rias, you think you may have found something before we came here?

Rias: Well, I found this just last week.

She then held up a piece of paper as Velma looked at it.

Velma: Why this is a receipt.

Dimitri: And it's for a very expensive telescopic lens.

KO: But why would there be a receipt for that?

Ashton: Only one way to find out. Let's go to the place where the lens was bought.

We later see the group as they were seen at a shop that sells eyeglasses and other lenses as they walked to a man.

Dimitri: Excuse me sir, we were wondering if you would know which lens this recipe was for.

He then handed the shop owner the receipt as he looked at it.

Shop owner: Ah yes, this is for an electronic spotter telescopic lens.

KO: Spotter telescopic lens?

Shop owner: Yes, I have another one like it.

Dimitri: Can we see it?

Shop owner: Certainly.

He then handed Dimitri the lens.

Dimitri: Hey, this lens makes everything in here brighter.

Shop Owner: Try using it outside.

He then looked out the window with the lens as he saw how bright it was.

Dimitri: It made night into day.

Shop owner: Exactly, this is a special light gathering lens for seeing in the dark.

Ashton: Hmm, I have a feeling that this may be connected with the robberies.

Fred: Can we borrow this lens to take to the police?

Shop Owner: Of course. Be careful out there. A lens like that could be dangerous in the wrong hands you know.

Ashton: We know. Come on guys.

We then see them leaving the shop as we see them walking.

Dimitri: So far the clues we got are the penthouse facing the buildings that were robbed and a light gathering lens.

Ashton: Yeah it makes us think that we have this mystery just about wrapped up.

KO: Ash, you sound like Velma.

Ashton: Yeah, and if I'm thinking like Fred, I say we all set a trap for this phantom. Come on guys, back go to the construction site.

We then see them walk to the construction site as we see them on the beam of the building.

Ashton: Ok guys ready?

Dimitri: Yeah.

Ebenezer: HAHAHAHAHAHA!

They all turned and saw the phantom.

Hal: It's him!

Ashton: Run!

They then started to run with the phantom after them.

Dimitri: Now what?

Ashton: Try making him follow you D.

Dimitri: Ok. *to the phantom* Hey! Over here!

He then ran to a different beam but the phantom was still after the group as he had them trapped.

Dimitri: Oh no! What now?

Scooby: Dimitri. The bucket!

Dimitri: That's it! The quick drying cement.

He then ran to the bucket and grabbed it as he began to run to the others.

Ebenezer: So you nosy kids set a trap for me? Well now I have you trapped!

Dimitri then jumped onto the beam making the beam move as it heads towards Rias' penthouse as we see it hit the building making the group get on it as the phantom slid towards Netty.

Netty: What's going on?

Daphne: It's Netty.

Then Dimitri rolled off of the beam making him toss the bucket towards the phantom and Netty trapping them both.

Ashton: Hot dog! You got them D!

???: Rias?

They all turned and saw a man with red hair and Carmelita was behind him in a police uniform.

Rias: Brother why are you here?

Sirzech: I received a call from Inspector Fox here about a "phantom" haunting our hospital.

Fred: Carmelita was actually a police officer?

Carmelita: Yes.

Jessica: But why work as a maid?

Carmelita: It would have made people suspicious if they saw a police officer always around. Which was why I took the job as a maid.

Dimitri: Well now to see who these characters really are. First we unmask the phantom

He then removed the phantom's mask revealing a young man with brown hair

Rias: It's Issei.

Velma: Now to get the mask off of old Netty.

She then removed Netty's mask revealing Koneko.

Ashton: Koneko.

We later see everyone inside the penthouse.

Sirzechs: Issei Hyodo and Koneko Toujou? Safe burglars?

Ashton: That's right.

Carmelita: Mind telling us how you figured the mystery out?

Dimitri: Sure. *points out the window* You'll notice this penthouse faces all the places that were robbed.

Jessica: And by using a powerful telescope with a special light gathering lens they were able to see the owner opening their safes.

Hal: And copy down the combinations for them.

Ashton: Here take a look.

Sirzechs then looked in the telescope as he saw it was pointed at a safe.

Sirzechs: Well I'll be, it's the Mahoney Baloney company. that's the safe that was robbed last night.

Carmelita: Ingenious.

Rias: But why did Issei and Koneko haunt our building?

Daphne: Because it was high enough to obstruct their view.

Enid: They had to slow down construction by scaring off the workers.

Carmelita: If only we could find the stolen money.

Ashton: Don't worry about that Carmelita. Scooby tip that plant over please.

Scooby: Okay.

He then tipped the plant over making it fall and was revealed to be fake as money came out.

Wil: Money!

Sirzechs: I believe you mean stolen money.

Carmelita: Thank you Scooby, you wrapped up the case for me.

Scooby: Aw, it was nothing.

Ashton: I'll make sure all this money is returned to their rightful owners.

Dimitri: Good idea Ashton.

Sirzechs: I suppose I should thank you all for solving this mystery and to you as well son of Kyrone.

Dimitri: How do you know my dad?

Sirzechs: Everyone has heard about your father but he was a friend of mine.

Dimitri: Oh.

The Sirzechs then noticed Carmelita taking away Issei and Koneko.

Sirzechs: Hold on Carmelita, there is something I need to do first.

He then held out his hand as it glowed as we then saw a red sphere come out of Issei as it came to his hand.

Sirzechs: Now you can take them away.

She then nodded as she took the two away.

Sirzechs: I want you to take this, consider it a gift.

He then gave the orb to Dimitri as we then see it come to Dimitri's arm as it became a red gauntlet with green jewels in it.

Dimitri: Awesome, thank you.

We later see everyone at the plaza.

Ashton: Carmelita wanted to give Scooby a special reward after helping her find the stolen money.

We then see Carmelita bring a cake to scooby as it was shaped like her badge.

Dimitri: It's amazing.

Rias: Look, it says "Honorary Police Dog"

Jessica: That looks too pretty to be eaten doesn't it?

Scooby: Nope.

Scooby then ate the cake as the group laughed at him

Jessica: Hey Dimitri, did I ever thank you guys for saving me?

Dimitri: Well we wouldn't have looked for you if I hadn't found your ring.

Hal: But why didn't you call for help Jess?

Jessica: I couldn't even if I wanted to Hal, I was gagged remember? I could hardly make a sound.

Hal: Oh.
