AN: In this story Mukuro is unable to free himself from the Estraneo because he severely weakened by all of the experiments he's been subjected to. But he finds a way to send letters of help to the person who protects him in the future, Tsuna.

Mukuro: 10
Ken: 9
Chikusa: 9
Tsuna: 8

'Tired... I'm so... tired... but I... must try.... before the... next one...' Mukuro thought as he dragged himself to a small piece of paper that he has in his, Ken, and Chikusa's cage. Blood dripped from his eye which they had inserted into him just 5 days before. Without anything else to write with he used the blood dripping to write a small message 'HELP ME.' He slumped down and quickly used mist flames to send the note to a location only his flames knew of. His flames wrapped around him in comfort before he fainted unable to stand his exhaustion any more.

The mist flames he released turned to a small bird that carried the note far, far away.

Japan

The small bird flew with determination to it's destination despite the mist flames it was made with slowly fading away. It soon spotted a head of fluffy brown hair and quickly flew to the small boy sitting in his backyard. The bird ungracefully landed in the boys lap before fading.

"Hmm? What's this?" Tsuna questioned before reading the small note. He soon freaked out because it was written in blood but regained sense and wondered who wrote this.

"Maybe that book can help... if I had seen correctly then that bird was made out of mist flames." He said to himself before going into his room and pulling out a large black book from under his bed. He paged through until he saw a section called 'Letters of the suffering.'

'Maybe this is what whoever is sending me these is trying to do.' Tsuna thought as he read the section:

Letters of the suffering

Sometimes when a element is suffering they can use their power to send letters to the one who can help them, usually their sky, to seek comfort or reach out to the one their flames feel can rescue them. Most common are the ones that have active flames but do not have a deep connection to their sky yet and since they do not their flames is the only thing that can help them get help instinctively. Recommended option try to send a letter in the same manner.

"Ok... how do I do that?" Tsuna mumbled to himself before trying to find the answer in the book.

He had soon read the entire book, closing it angrily before writing a letter and just sending it instinctively. After a hour of concentration nothing happened before he realized that he had to release some flames.

"*faceplam* I'm an idiot it's not like it's going to magically disappear through enough concentration." He said to himself before lighting his hand with his sky flames and letting instinct take over. The flames turned into a large bird that picked up the letter and flew out the window to a destination unknown to Tsuna.

The letter Tsuna wrote:

'Hello, My name is Tsuna.

I received your letter and know that you're suffering but until I can help you I will try my best to comfort you. Can you please tell me you're name, and what situation you're in.

Sincerely,

The sky that wishes to help the mist'

AN: I'm already crying for Mukuro *cries* anyway hope you guys enjoy and yes Tsuna knows about flames and was never sealed, that will probably be explained in another chapter but he still doesn't know about the mafia. Next Chapter: My Mist-erious Penpal part 1.
