Nico's P.O.V

Its been an uneventfull year Nico said to himself as he looked besides him at Will, who was helping the kids out with their homework, they just started kindergarden last week. Nico sighed as he rembers his days with Bianca, begind the anoying little brother and all the fights they got into, it was a happy memory, yet, he knew all things had to come to an end, like they were going to today.  Monsters had started attacking their household recently and they were about to, do something that broke Nico's heart. Will heald his hand as they walked outside with the two kingerdargeners and put them in the Strawberry van from camp half-blood. "Daddy, are we gooowing to kingergwarden?" Bianca said with her cut voice and Nico held back tears. "No baby girl, your going to go have a fun time where me and your daddy grew up!" he said with his chearfull voice he always said to the kids. "Will you be coming with us dwaddy?" Michael asked and Will patted his head. "No, we" he looked at nico "we cant go, im sorry munchkins." Bianca grabbed onto Nico's chest. "No! you have to come daddy! whos going to read us stories and play with us and tell us about grandpa and granma if your not there?" Nico held back tears and higged her tightly. "You have to go sweetie, well see you soon" Micheal looked at Bianca then at Nico "Promise?" Nico bit his lip and fake smiled "I promise" Micheal hugged will tightly as Argus looked at them and pointed behind the house were a group of monsters were begging to advance on their house. Will nooded and pushed micheal away "well see you soon, bye kids" Will said smiling. "Bye Dadda and Daddy!" They said in osion as Will closed the door and Argus quickly drove away. Nico silently prayed to the gods that they would be safe for their journey, and that Apollo and Hades would watch over them.... Well mostly Apollo Nico decides. Nico got out his sword as Will got out his bow, Will allready aiming at the monsters ahead of them. "Atleast their safe" Nico finally said as they waited for the monsters to come. Will nodded as he looked into the distance. "Ya, i hope we auctly get to see them again. "Nico held back a tear as he held his husband hand who squeezed it. "We will Nico, dont worry, we survived a war with the titans, and won, we survived a war with the freakning giants and won, you walked through tartoures alone and survied!" Will started. "We will see our kids again and be a family once again! Do you understand me Nico?!" Will said anxously. "Yes i do Captain Will, are you ready to beat these monsters butts?"

Will grinned at Nico "Who isnt?"

With that final note Nico charged into battle, Wills talk fuleing him with rage and courage as he not only fought for himself, but for his family, letting the hope shine as he imagined him and his kids playing as they did every other day. This is not a Goodbye he decided. Its a beginning.
