At the stroke of midnight, every light in the town flickered then went out and doors rattled and wind passed through gaps in windows and walls. Then all was silent. Not even a cricket could be heard. Meanwhile, Talie, a teenage boy woke up from a nightmare where his mother was being stabbed by a psychopath. Talie got out of his bed. His light being the only light on in the house. He had a feeling that he was being watched. Talie started wandering around the house. Strange things happened around the house, like once, he heard footsteps when he was in the attic. But the strangest thing that happened was when he walked down the stairs and realised that. This wasn't his house! After Talie turned a corner into a hallway he could see something at the end of the hallway. He saw what it was. His mother and father dead up against a wall with a dagger lying next to them. Blood was everywhere. Even smeared on the wall! Ugh, gruesome.
