Weeks passed by. Thankfully, Ashley hasn't been around.

I got Lily enrolled in preschool since i'll be in the studio a lot and Allie and Jessica can't always keep watching. She will be a bit special since she's a mute, but I'm sure shell be fine. I just hope she can make friends.

Since I thought Lily would need some new clothes, I decided to take her shopping.

I made her breakfast, got her dressed, and we left.

Bought her some stuff from Journey's, Gap Kids, Tilly's, a Sanrio store, and then got to Hot Topic.

I know what you're thinking, and I'm not spoiling Lily. I just want the best for her. She's my little girl, my princess, and I want to treat her like one.

She tugged my jeans and held up a Motionless in White shirt up to me.

"Hehe, a little big for you, don't you think??" I laughed.

She shook her head and then puts the shirt in my hand, pointing at me.

"Y-You want me to have it??" I asked.

She nodded and then hugs my leg since I was still towering over her.

"Awwww!!" two clerk girls said, all smiley from how cute Lily was being.

I blushed a bit as I leaned down and kissed the top of Lily's head.

"Thank you, baby girl," I said.

I let her pick out whatever she wanted, which was basically Batman, Hello Kitty, and Disney Princess stuff, as well as some band merch.

We bought our items and then went looking for the food courts.

We bought churros and continued walking when Lily stopped walking and squinted into the distance.

"See something??" I asked, crouching down to her level.

Her eyes then widen, and she had an excited smile. Next thing I know, she takes off running forward.

"What, hey, LILY!!" I called out, grabbing the bags and running behind. "COME BACK!!"

Man, she's fast for a 5 year old!

I caught up to her in time to see her hug someone from behind, giggling.

The guy turned around, surprised, and I recognized him.

"Hehe, look who found me," Frank laughed as he kneeled down, Lily hugged him.

I smiled and walked up to them.

"Found what you were looking for, Lily? What's up, Frank??" I laughed.

"Eh, same old, same old," he said.

"Lily, I've told you not to run off like that," I said.

Lily just gave me a puppy dog look.

Dear lord, she can still do it.

"Fine, you're off the hook," I said.

"Still got your ol' pops wrapped around you finger, huh, Little Miss Motionless??" Frank laughed, making me roll my eyes.

Lily giggled and nodded.

"She can laugh now??" he asked.

I nodded. "Still no words, though," I said.

"Ahh. Well, at least she's doing alright," he said.

"Yeah," I agreed.

Lily then tugged on my hand and motioned over to a Disney store.

"Want Disney stuff?" I asked.

"Let me get her what she wants. After all, I'm sure I owe a few birthday and Christmas presents," Frank said, and then Lily drags us both into the store.

Lily chose a Cheshire cat plushie, a Sally Skellington doll, a Snow White costume, and a Nightmare Before Christmas shirt.

Frank bought her things and we talked the rest of the way. He took a job as a tattoo apprentice and is doing great with his girlfriend, Anna.

"Oh, and a certain evil blonde has been texting me for some unknown reason," he said.

I grunt."Relax. After some encounter with Lily and Ghost, I filed in a restraining order and some charges. She won't bother us."

"Good," Frank said.

Soon it started getting late and Frank said goodbye, but Lily clung to his hand.

"Hey, I'll stop for a visit, Lily Pad. Be good, alright??" I said.

She nodded.

"How about a kiss??" he said, showing his cheek, and Lily giggled before kissing his cheek.

"You're too kind. No love for me, Chrissy??" he asked as he stood up.

"You're funny, Polumbo," I laughed. "See ya."

"Later, Cerulli's," he said and headed to his car.

Lily yawned, and that was my signal to be getting us home.

I picked her up and placed her on my hip as she rested her head on my shoulder and I carried her to the car, our bags in the trunk.

I strapped her to her car seat and put the Cheshire cat plushie in her arms as she slept.

I then climbed in as we drove home.
