*Months Later*

I was a bit pissed, since this new tour led to TJ ditching the band for Escape the Fate, and leaving all the work to Ricky for bass.

Now we're looking for a new bassist. One guy caught our eye, Devin Sola. He's pretty good, actually. We told him we'll give him a call.

I sat in the kitchen booth on my phone when I felt a tug on my shirt.

I looked down and saw it was Lily. Her cheeks were red and she didn't look too good.

"You okay, baby girl?" I asked.

She shook her head and gave a thumbs down as I picked her up and sat her next to me.

I felt her forehead, and realize she was burning up.

"Crap. Ang!" I shouted.

"Yeah?!" Angelo shouted from the other side.

"Can you bring me a wet towel and a cup of water?!" I called out, carrying Lily to the bunk room and lying her down on the couch.

"Why?!" he shouted.

"Lily's sick!! She has a fever!!" I said.

It only took two minutes before Angelo came back with a wet towel and a cup of water

"Here," he said, the guys looking in. "Ryan went to get some medicine and a thermometer."

I placed the towel on Lily's forehead, and then noticed she looked a bit green.

"Lily?" I asked.

"She doesn't look so good," Angelo said.

"Ricky grab a bucket," Balz said.

Ricky handed a bucket and placed it in front of Lily as she sat up and next thing I know she threw up in it, then started to cry quietly.

"Oh boy," Ricky said.

Lily quivered her lip as she clutched to her stomach.

"I think its a stomach ache," Balz said.

"Probably more than just that, Balz," Ricky said.

"Oh god, what do I do?!" I said feeling nervous and scared.

"Stay calm, dude. We'll take her to a hospital to see what's wrong. There's one not far from here," Angelo said.

I nodded and carefully picked up Lily and my jacket, along with her's and walk out with Angelo and Ricky to Korel's car, and drive off to the hospital, entering through ER.

"Hello, please help. She's sick I dont know what's wrong," I told the receptionist, trying my best to remain calm.

"Alright, can we get a stretcher?!" she called, and two nurses came and instructed me to lie Lily down and they pulled her through the hall but stopped me when I followed.

"Wait, that's my daughter!!" I said.

"Sir, you must stay here. I can assure you, your daughter will be alright," the receptionist said. "May I ask you a few questions?"

I answered her questions, Lily's name, who her mother was, what happened, stuff like that before she told us to have a seat and wait.

I sat down and buried my face in my hands.

"This is all my fault," I said.

"Chris dont be so hard on yourself. She's going to be alright," Angelo said.

"He's right, dude. You're a good parent and she turned out fine," Ricky said.

"I should have been careful, though," I said.

"Look, lets just wait and see what's wrong," Angelo said.

I just nod and we wait. I know I shouldn't be so hard on myself, but the fact that I had to take Lily to the hospital scares me.

It wasn't long until a nurse came in.

"Parents of Lily Cerulli," I said.

We got up and walked up to the nurse.

"Father, right?" she asked me.

I nodded. "How is she?"

"Lily's going to be just fine. Her fever's already going down and she's stopped throwing up," she said.

"Thank goodness," I said relieved. "But what caused it?"

"Just some food poisoning, which I want to ask about. Did she eat anything today? Something new maybe?" she asked.

"Umm, I don't know. We had breakfast at Denny's, she had scrambled eggs, mini pancakes, and some bacon," I said.

"With orange juice," Ricky added.

"Well, there's a chance it was either the eggs or the bacon that upset her stomach. Right now she's alright and can leave tonight after she rests a bit," she said.

"That's good," I said relieved my little girl's okay.

"Can we see her?" Angelo asked

"Yes, of course," she said, and we followed her to Lily's room.
