Shakshi had laid the dinner, more of a food fest. She had proposed to go out for dinner and celebrate the news but Vineet refused to go anywhere while Anamika didn't turn up from her room even after being called several times, when a little annoyed Shakshi herself went to call the young lady, she finds her sleeping soundly holding a cushion, curled up like a kid. Shakshi smiles at the scene and covers her with a duvet. 

Now, when she again asks Vineet to call Anamika for dinner, he makes a face not wanting to go. 

''Vineet kya baat hai? Kyun aise kar rahe ho tum? Jab usko jyada attention ki jarurat hai tum bachon si harkat kar rahe ho, thodi toh maturity dikhao. You're going to a father, khud ko badalna hoga tumhe, aab har chij tumhare hisab se nahi hoga kyunki aab hum sab ki pehli priority Anamika aur wo bacha hai. So please, behave yourself.'' His mother shouted at him as she was now irritated by his act. How long can they stand his immature and stubborn behaviour? 

At first he shouted at them because he was in a bad mood, then he canceled their dinner plan without Anamika's consent and now he doesn't want to leave the table and call his pregnant wife for dinner. How can he be so careless and act foolish towards his pregnant wife who needs him and his time?  

''Vineet jao!!" Shakshi yelled in an authoritative tone. 

Vineet growls and leaves the table, he heads towards his room preparing himself to face her again. A few hours ago they had an unpleasant conversation which is actually very abnormal for a would-be parents to discuss but he had to do that. How can he accept something which cost him his happiness and dream? He would have been happy, had the child come into the scene after a few years, when she would have been successful but now everything is just an imaginary dot which cannot be connected. 

He let out a deep sigh standing at the doorstep of his room and slightly pushed the door to enter, to face her again, to see her begging and crying again which only made him guilty and angry.

Anupam seems to be concerned about his son's behavior now. The guy has a stubborn nature and does what pleases him but he needs to change now, he has a wife and soon will have a child. How long is he going to behave kiddish? 

''Shakshi, talk to him!! Kab tak wo iss tarah se behave karta rahega? Apne bache ke samne bhi aise zidd karega kya aab wo? Aab tak toh hum adjust kar rahe the na uske liye, aab uski baati hai apne bache ke liye adjust karne ki, thoda mature aur responsible hona padega aab usko!! Uski wajah se pehle tum kahin nahi jaa paati thi, aab Anamika nahi jaati par jo bacha aane wala hai kya hum uski icchaon ko bhi daba denge kyunki uske baap ko kahin jana aacha nahi lagta?? Please, usse samjhao thoda main toh kuch kahunga toh muh phula ke hi baith jaayega jaise koi 2 saal ka bacha ho toh tum hi baat karo uss se ki aab toh apna zidd aur ahem ko side rakhe aur baki chijon pe bhi dhyan de.'' Anupam articulated his feelings while Shakshi just stared at him wondering what made him say such a thing, as her husband is a calm headed person and has never raised questions against their kids but today he seems to be not pleased with his son. 

Well, she too has some sour feelings as of now. Hitherto, they have been adjusting for him while he always did what he wanted. 

At first, he directly refuses to help his father in business and declares to visit London for some courses. He was so crazy for the course that he even had few arguments with his father, when he asked him the details and confronted him to join the business and do course along with it because Anupam was facing some health issue and was not being able to handle it all alone but the guy refuses to even step in the office and then suddenly one day he dropped that idea and join the business. 

He's always about himself, be it anything he wants his point to be accepted by all and if not he argues, fights and at the end turns ignorant to that person. They have accepted it as he's their son, Anamika may adjust because she's his wife but how can they expect a child to do the same? Graving his feelings for his father? 

Shakshi breathed heavily,

''Mujhe lagta hai wo bache ki news se khush nahi hai. Jis tarah wo react kar raha tha jab meine sawal kiye mujhe shaq hua par Anamika fir kuch aur bol rahi hai. Pata nahi kya baat hai par kuch toh hai!!" Shakshi verbalized her concern. She had sensed his anger when she talked about the child but then Anamika had a different story. 

Anupam rolls his eyes,''wo khush ho na ho aab matter nahi karta. Agar koi baat thi toh usse savdhan hona chahiye tha, aab bewajah ke harkat kar ke khudko aur sabki takleef hi dega bas. I just hope aisi koi baat na ho warna tumhara beta jaane kitne life tabha karega apni zidd mei, kyunki hum ache se jante hai zidd ke mamle mei woh kaisa hai aur wo kis hadd tak jaa sakta hai!!" Anupam was totally in discomfort and anger.

Shakshi could feel the depth of their conversation, it's actually a matter of concern and she surely needs to converse with both Anamika and Vineet. 

Shakshi assures her husband to converse with the couple and serves dinner to him.

Here, when Vineet enters the room he finds her sitting on the bed lost in some thought, her face pale, hair messed a little it seems she just woke up and decides to think again over the topic. 

''Maa niche dinner ke liye bula rahi hai!!" He told her straightly without any mixed emotion as he doesn't want to even converse about what he declared to her. 

Anamika was startled by his sudden noise, it took her a moment to realize her surroundings. 

She gazes at him in confusion and pain. Confusion to what he just said and pain to what he declared a few moments before. 

''Maa niche bula rahi hai tumhe, dinner ke liye!!" He repeated, gazing at her with a straight face. 

Anamika clears her throat, feeling a lump forming there with his emotionless words. 

''Mujhe...mujhe bhookh nahi!!" She uttered. 

''Tumne toh kabse kuch khaya nahi fir bhookh kyun nahi hai? Nahi khaogi toh tabiyat bigad jaayegi!!" He says in concern. 

Obviously he's concerned for her. He just doesn't want the child but he wants her - forever!!! He loves her dearly but not the child and her feelings for the unborn. 

Anamika doesn't reply, she just lowered her gaze. Vineet stands at his place for a few moments but when she doesn't move he takes his leave without a word.

When Shakshi saw him coming without Anamika, questions instantly formed up in her mind and she asked the same to him which only irritates him now. 

''Usse bhookh nahi hai mom toh main kya karu?? Meine bola aane ko par usse nahi aana hai toh aab kya utha ke le aau? Hadh hai yaar, piche hi pade ho tabse. Itna hai toh khud jaa ke bula lo aab, main nahi jaunga kahin!!" He shouted and took his seat. He pulled a plate and asked her to serve him in a harsh tone. 

Shakshi shot him a fierce glare,''khud serve karke khao, chhote bache nahi ho ki plate mei nikal ke dun tabhi khaoge!" She snaps at him and heads to his room to call Anamika, leaving a raged Vineet behind.
