"And they all lived happily ever after."

Bruce Wayne closes the book and smiles warmly at his grandchildren: Scarlett Todd, Janie, Alexa and Derrick Grayson, Honey and Aiden Drake, Birdie Opal, Carmen and Allen Wayne, and Cosima Fox are all sleeping soundly on the opposite couch, lying on top of one another.

"I see those stories still do the trick?" Selina whispers as Bruce looks up to see her leaning in the doorway with a cup of tea in her hands.

"Yes. They do. I just wish Alfred was here to see them," Bruce explains as Selina sits down next to him, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"I know. But Alfred will always be here. In our hearts."

Author's Notes

I want to provide some context on why this book was made: the entire point of it was to tie in with a chapter of Indescribable mentioning Alfred's death (which was chapter 24). Unfortunately, I didn't finish it in time.
