Sonics pov

I woke up and whispered as I opened my eyes slowly, oh goodness gracious I must've fallen asleep. What time is it? But next thing I know I'm in his arms (Nakurus arms) he was holding me I blushed pure red as his fur as I looked at him sleeping I thought, wow he's so cute when he's asleep. I giggled as I kissed him on the cheek and said as I placed a hand on his cheek, oh Nakuru your such a sweetie. I cuddled towards him but I was unaware of him awake and listening to me. He wrapped around an arm around me as a leaf landed on my lap. It made me remember that time when I was 10 years old and Nakuru was 11 years old at autumn.

10 year old Sonic who was now in middle school was walking to his after classes (he was wearing his usual white gloves, an orange jacket, a bright yellow shirt, brown tight-like pants and greenish yellow sneakers) when he stopped sees some leaves falling from the ground in different colors and said as he looked at the red, orange, brown, and yellow leaves, wow this is amazing I wonder how many colors that leaves change every year but it seems so sad that the flowers shriveled up like ashes and cinder fading into the night. That's when a hand placed on Sonics shoulder he turned to see 11 year old Knuckles with a concern look on his face and said, hey Sense you okay? Sonic said as he blushed, oh...hey Nakuru well....I'm kinda okay.. Knuckles asked, what makes you say that? Sonic said in a sad tone, well the colors of the leaves are very pretty but it's so really sad that the flowers haft to go and I can't bring them back in this season... Knuckles took one sad look at his secret crush and said as he wrapped an arm around him, hey Sensitive it's okay not all the plants are dead and they'll be back next spring I promise you they will. Sensitive blushed and looked away but slightly looked at him with a shy smile and said happily, oh Nakuru. That's when the two walked down the path of falling leaves.
