"What are you doing here? You finally changed your mind and decided to join the Cobras? We definitely need more girls," Aisha smiled at us as we waited in Sam's car.

"I was actually coming to see if you wanted to hang out. I was thinking maybe we could go on a hike, or we could go to the beach club?" Sam offered, and honestly, the beach club sounds so good right now.

"I'd love to, but the guys and I have to go to Hawks house to watch some movie called Over The Top. Sensei said we have to be ready to discuss, so," Aisha shrugged and the bell to the Cobra Kai dojo opened, and out came Miguel and Eli.

Or, Hawk now, I guess.

"Do you wanna come with?"

"Uhm, yeah I was sorta thinking it would just be us," Sam admitted.

"Maybe you could just come? I'd be good for you guys to talk, air things out," I gave Aisha the "really?" look.

"I know it doesn't seem like it, but Hawk really does miss you, Quinn. He doesn't shut up about how you'll eventually forgive him and run back to him," My eyebrows furrowed in a shocked expression.

Run back to him?

Forgive him?!

"Wait, that sounded bad," Aisha realized.

You think?

"Yeah, we're gonna take a rain check," Sam said bitterly.

"Okay, sorry. See you," And she walked away.

"See you later."

"Forgive him? As if. I'm not saying anything until he apologizes and changes his act."

"Yeah, he's a total dick now-"

"You two talking about me?" I flinched as his voice came from behind me and I turned around to see him leaning against the car door with his hands.

"Go away, Hawk."

"Why don't you come with us, princess? It'll be fun," He smirked, grabbing my chin in his hand and I hated how I still felt butterflies.

Jerking my chin away, I crossed my arms and looked to the side.

"Just leave her alone," Sam glared at him.

"Quinn," He bent down, his breath hot on my ear and I could feel my face heat up.

No.

You don't like him.

"Happy b-"

But before he could say anything else, Sam pulled the car back abruptly and he fell on his ass. I quickly recovered as she pulled out of the driveway and towards the mall.

"Why are we going to the mall?"

"Did you forget it's your birthday?" I honestly did. Sure, my mom reminded me in the morning, but it's been so hectic that it slipped my mind.

"What are we gonna do?"

"Hopefully, get your mind off of Hawk. And have some good girl time," She grinned and I relaxed in the passengers seat, reminding myself that I'm older and don't need to deal with a boy like him.

What a great start to summer break.
