CHAPTER 39:
Still love you.

"You sure you want to do this?"

"Yes, I. . .I'm ready."

My mom smiled at me and nodded as I got out of the car, waiting a few more moments until she drove away.

"I love you!" She shouted, and I chuckled.

After the events of last night, Hawk drove me home. I didn't expect him to have a bike but didn't oppose to holding onto him as he took me home. Everything fell into place. Hawk wasn't the monster Cobra Kai wanted to mold him into, but rather a more confident and sure of himself person.

I still remember the awkward conversation we had when he walked me up to my door.

"What. . .what do you want to be?" Hawk asked nervously.

". . .A psychology major-"

"N-no, I mean us," He interrupted and my face reddened from the sheer embarrassment.

"O-oh, right," I stuttered out.

To be honest, I didn't know. I knew I wanted to be with him. It's all I've ever wanted. But after all of this, after Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do and after the things he still needs to make amends for, I didn't know.

"I want us to start out small - as friends first. N-not too long though, I still like you. . .a lot. And I do want to hold hands with you, do those pinterest couple pictures, steal your-your hoodies, if-if you'd like that," My heart hammered in my chest because one, my stuttering only got worse now that he's more confident and frankly. . .hot. Two, he knows I like him and so he knows only he can make me feel and act this way.

"I'd love it," He stepped closer, a small smirk tugging at his lips.

"I'll probably look like I'm swimming in one of your hoodies," I chuckled.

"You'll look cute in them."

I wanted to melt on the spot but somehow managed to keep my composure.

"Can I call you Eli? Or did you actually change your name to Hawk?"

He held my cheek in his hand, "As long as it's you."

And as much as I've been dreaming of how his lips would feel on mine, I knew I wasn't ready yet. So when he went in for a kiss, I moved my head back and brought up my finger to stop him.

"Not quite yet, Eli," I teased him and he nervously pulled back.

"R-right, sorry. . .I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, tomorrow."

I smiled as I walked through the Miyagi-Do entrance and spotted Demetri and Eli, and made my way over towards them.

"Glad to see the three amigos are back," Demetri smiled.

"Couldn't be happier," I smiled as I got up next to Eli, and he smiled back at me.

Before lessons started, I looked down at our hands and their proximity. I slipped our hands together, intertwining our fingers and Eli gave me a soft smile.

"You ready?"

"Let's begin!"

FINAL CHAPTER OF S3!!! I'm gonna miss writing this sm!! Until s4 and s5 and hey, maybe even s6, I'll see you guys in October. Unfortunately, I just saw that the company who owns Webtoon bought out Wattpad but they're saying nothings going to change for those who make fanfiction. If things do change, I'll move my fanfic to AO3 or Tumblr.
