Dawn

As i sat there in my padded room, i kept remembering the gory bloody scene that I found in my room.

The heads of my parents and my eight year old brother, hanging in my room, their limbs scattered all over the house, the stench of blood and death everywhere. It was a scene that can make even the strongest of forensics team vomit their guts out.

I had come home from school late and found my house in this horror movie scene. All of a sudden, i felt a push behind me and looked into the face of a ski mask, who had a crow bar in his hand. I tried to fight, but he was stronger and before i know it, i feel a sharp pain on my head and i'm unconcious.

When i woke up, police had me in hand cuffs, my hands and part of my clothes soaked in my family's blood.

I was sent to Copperstake Lunatic Asylum, the most dangerous asylum in the country.

I've been ehre for almost 4 weeks, and at 16 years old, i'm the youngest. Its horrible here.

I've seen people fight, panic, breackdown, even get killed, or kill themselves.

My door then opens and the 2 nurses that takes care of me walk in and aproach me. 

"Time for lunch, Dawn," one of them, the female one who was a little bit chubby, said blankly, helping my up. The other, a male, started unstraping my straight jacket. He looked familiar in a scary way, but i ignored it. A lot of people looked creepy here.

They take off my straight jacket and hold my arms as we walk out my room into the hallway.

Patients were on the ground in fetal position, some were crying into the wall, others talking to themselves.

We then arrive to the cafeteria and the nurses set me down. The male nurse leaves to help the doctor at the lobotomy room while the other nurse just gets my food. I hear stories that when you get "lobotomyed" you are never the same ever again.

Just then, a bloodcurdling scream echos in the cafeteria. A girl that is 2 years older than me threw her tray of food into the wall, splattering ravioli and mashed potatoes everywhere and scaring the other 2 girls and one boy at her table. 

"I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!" she screamed, knocking over tables and chairs.

Two other male nurses run up and pin her to the ground. She screams and struggles as much as she could as one of them pull out a needle and jabs it into her arm. She slowly stops struggling and falls limp under the grasp of the nurses.

"Take her to the Shock Therapy room, boys," the nurse that got my food shouts as the plate of mystery food is set up in front of me. I watch as they drag the sedated girl out of the lunch room. Poor girl is going to get shocked now. Her lunch crew was then escorted from the lunch room back to their rooms. They looked really nervous.

"I doubt you will be any trouble. I'm going to help them with Sara. Just be a good girl and eat up," she said and walked out following the male nurses with the girl.

I tried to eat my food and just ended up poking it it until it was just chopped up pudding. I then just get up and decide to take a walk.

The doctors dont do anything else unless its shock therapy or lobotomy. Nobody has been lobotomyed since i arrived here. I still wonder what it means. Never bothered to learn the word.

"RUN!!!" I heard a man's voice scream from down the hall, scaring some of the roaming patients into possible oblivion. He runs my direction and next thing I know, he has me pinned to the wall.

"RUN!! GET OUT OF HERE!! They only come for the ones who aren't crazy!! Like you!!" he sneered.

I then feel his hands coiling around my throat I scream as much as i could for help and for air. I feel myself turning blue when two nurses pull him off of me and away. I fall to the ground gasping for air.

"I'm telling the truth!! They only get the ones who aren't crazy!!! YOU'RE NEXT, DAWN!!" he screams as they drag him away.

How does he know my name??
