Dawn

We sped to the nearest hospital and then i'm checked as they check on the baby.

Turns out it was only a bad contraction, but I was to wait a day or less in the hospital to gain back my energy.

The baby's due date was two months from now

But even Darrel knew it was a danger for us to be in one spot, especially if that spot is in a hospital.

I stayed in my room, cautiously looking around, seeing all the needles and machines, bringing back memories of Cooperstake.

I still can't think how it was that those doctor's were able to survive. Seth saids Martin literally got his head snapped, and Olga's face was literally blown off. 

How is that even possible??

It was then that a doctor comes into the room, wearing a surgical mask.

"Marla Harris, correct??" he said, looking at a clipboard.

"Yes," i said.

There was someting off about this guy, and it got me to gripping at the sheets.

I gulped as his eyes looked at me, then i realzie who he was.

Oh no. 

Seth

I sat in the waiting room waiting for news for Dawn. Darrel sat next to me while Samantha and Jeff paced in front of us.

I look at Darrel, who looked pretty upset, and that's when i remember whatDawn said, something about a secret about himself he recently discovered.

"Hey, Darrel, what was it that Dawn was talking about, about some secret of your's?? If you don't mind me asking??" i asked.

He looks up at me and sighs.

"I recently found out i was a foster kid. My parents left my in a dumpster the moment i was born, which was their prom night, and i was rescued, but never told anything about that," he said.

"Oh my gosh," Samantha said, overhearing him. I'm guessing she didn't know, since Dawn was a more trusted figure for Darrel.

"Well, we're all going to face the truth, no matter how bad or good it can be. We just got to be tough about it," i said, patting his back. 

He smiles up at me. "Thanks Seth," he said.

All of a sudden, I hear a scream from inside and look at Samantha and Jeff.

"That's Dawn!!" i shout, and we all rush into the hall and into her room, where a doctor help a butcher knife and Dawn was on the bed, screaming for help.

Darrel then grabs a chair and swings it at the doctor. "Leave her alone!!!!" he shouts as the doctor falls to teh ground. Dang, this kid was strong.

"Seth!!" Dawn cried.

I run up and embrace Dawn, thankful she was alright.

"Let's get out of here," Samantha said. We grab Dawn's clothes and rush out of the hospital.

On the way, i hear some doctors and nurses yelling for us, whether it was to stop or that they realized who we were and wanted to help, but we couldn't trust them.

We look for our car, but see someone had blown it up once we got there.

"Over there!!" Darrel shouted and pointed to a Nissan.

We run to it and Darrel grabs a rock from nearby and smashed the window of the Driver's seat in before prying the door open.

"This isn't Grand Theft Auto, kid!! What the hell??!" Jeff shouted.

"Well, its also called an escape," Drrel said, pulling out some wires and sticking them together, causing static to shoot and the car roared with life.

We all climb in, Jeff taking the wheel, and we speed out of there.

Dawn is breathing in and out, and i try and help her calm down.

"Okay, so no more hospitals, what do we do??" Jeff asked.

"First, get the heck out of this town. Its too dangerous now, and this baby isn't due for two months," I said.

"Sounds like a good idea," Samantha said.

"Where will we go??" Dawn asked.

"I know a place," Jeff said, and we speed out the streets of town into the highway, leading up to state borders.
