Maya just got home while Lucas, Riley, Farkle, Katy, Shawn, Cory, and Auggie were getting ready for tonight. Lucas, Rikey, and Farkle were getting the basement ready while the adults were making sure the whole house was on lockdown. Maya walks downstairs with a bag of groceries and guns.

Lucas looks at her and walks over. "Hey babe" He says while kissing her.

"Hey babe." Lucas says kissing me making me kiss back. It gets sad knowing this on this day, March26, we could die at any moment. We try not to think about it though.

"Babe are you okay?" Lucas asks me.

"It's just, it gets sad you know? My dad died on this night. The bad thing is, he died protecting me, he could of let me die." A tear escapes my eye and Lucas hugs me tight.

"Don't say that. Your father was a great man. He's looking over us now. You'll be safe with me okay?" He asks. I just nod.

{Seven O'clock}
Everyone is in the basement. The door is blocked as well so we'll be safe. The alarm sounds and I put my head in Lucas' neck since I'm sitting on his lap. Lucas pulls me closer, if that's even possible.

"It'll be alright." He whispers. The alarm sounds again.

"This is not a test. This is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government. Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted. Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed. Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning until 7 a.m., when The Purge concludes. Blessed be our New Founding Fathers and America, a nation reborn. May God be with you all." I hear it sound. I look over at Riley and she's cuddling with Farkle. I sigh as I see my mom crying, Shawn is comforting her and she's just laying on him crying. I hear a gun shot making me jump. Lucas just pulls me even closer. You'd think we were the same person. I look at him and kiss him. I really do love him.

Should I make a story out of this? If I do, I would have to change some things like make Riley Maya's daughter for reasons shown in my maybe story. Just let me know! It would be more Lucaya as well! Also @cece123456789 said my stories are good!! You don't know how good that is too hear!!!
