You laughed at something Wanda said as you held the warm glass of hot chocolate close to your chest.

"I'm being serious though," Wanda continued, eyeing Natasha curiously. "Who are you looking at Nat?" Wanda smirked.

You looked up at the assassin as her eyes were trained on one thing, you noticed this earlier- her staring, but didn't bother to bring it up. It didn't look like it meant anything, until now of course.

"Ooh," Your eyes followed hers as a certain super soldier came into view.

Natasha instantly teared her gaze away from Bucky as she looked at you and Wanda, "What?" She asked absentmindedly.

You laughed along with Wanda, "You totally have a crush on Bucky!" Wanda accused.

"Assassins don't have crushes, Wanda." Natasha stated.

"Well, you do. So yes, they do." Wanda said.

"Yeah, Nat. Sorry, your crush on Bucky is kind of obvious." You laughed.

"What about Peter's obviously huge crush on you, (Y/N)?" Nat asked.

"What?" You asked, clearly confused.

"Peter has a crush on you. Isn't it obvious? I thought you knew.." Nat explained, looking weary.

"What?" You asked- more like shouted. "How come I never knew about this? Wanda, did you know?"

"Well..."

"You did! How come you guys didn't tell me sooner?"

"We thought it was obvious enough, so we thought you already knew." Nat shrugged, taking a sip of her cola.

Your head turned over to Peter where he was talking with Steve and Tony with a smile.

As you were watching him, his eyes flickered over to yours and for a good couple of seconds it seemed like you and him were the only two people in the room.

Your heart beat in your chest as the sound arose through your ears. His eyes shined stunningly in the light and his bright, cheery smile didn't fail to make you smile back.

His eyes never left your gaze before yours' randomly flickered back to Wanda and Natasha, breaking the intense gaze.

"What was that?" Wanda cried, her excitement growing.

"What was what?" You asked, trying to shrug off what just happened as you took a sip of your hot chocolate.

Nat rolled her eyes, "You like him too, don't you?" She smiled.

"N-no. I do not!" You fired back.

"The stutter, the blushing! (Y/N)'s got a crush!" She chanted, as Wanda joined in.

"Would you guys lower your voices? People can hear you guys!" You shushed, looking around.

"Who? Like Peter?" Wanda laughed.

You rolled your eyes, "I do not like Pete-"

"Hey guys." Peter chirped from your left.

"Hi Peter." Wanda and Nat gushed.

"Hey Pete." You greeted, eyeing Nat and Wanda.

"What are you guys talking about?" He asked.

"Uh, just about our other plans for the holidays. What are your plans Peter?" Nat asked.

"I don't have much of anything planned really, just having Christmas with Aunt May and this party." He answered.

Nat nodded, "Nice." She said.

"(Y/N), could I talk to you for a second?" Peter asked, looking into your eyes hopefully.

You looked back at him, "Yeah sure."

He smiled, "I'll be back." You told Nat and Wanda as they both gave you looks which made you roll your eyes.

Peter led you into the hallway, placing his hand on the small of your back.

Once he stopped, you did too. "What's up?" You asked.

"I got you something." He said.

"You did? Peter you didn't have to, I didn't get you-"

"(Y/N), it's okay. This isn't a Christmas present," He explained. "Consider it a gift for always being there for me on our missions or when I've forgotten my homework at school." He chuckles.

You chuckled back, "Peter, you're my best friend. I'd do anything for you in a heartbeat, when I do these things it's not because I want something in return, it's because I care." You explained and smiled.

"I know (Y/N), but I just saw this one day when I was shopping and I just had to get it for you. Please take it." He smiled.

"Okay," You smiled, taking the small box he held out in his hand for you. You lifted the top off to reveal a small bracelet with 'forever' imprinted on it attached to an infinity sign.

"It represents our friendship, that it will last forever." He smiled, looking down at the box.

Although he sounded excited, there was a certain pain or sadness to his voice which made your heart ache in your chest. You knew what his feelings for you were and he couldn't tell you. Maybe in fear of jeopardizing your friendship? You didn't know.

"Aw, Peter, I love it! Thank you so much, it's beautiful." You gushed, engulfing him into a tight hug.

He hugged you back, "I'm so glad you like it. I've been waiting to give it to you for awhile." He chuckled.

You smiled, pulling away slightly. "Peter, can I ask you something?" You asked, suddenly getting quiet as he hooked the bracelet on your wrist.

"Anything." He said, meeting your gaze.

"Do you like me?"

He smiled, "Of course I do."

"No, not like that. Like in a more than friends way?" You asked hesitantly.

"Oh, uh," He swallowed, his eyes slightly widened as he scratched his neck awkwardly. "The truth?" He asked you.

You nodded, "The truth."

He let out a breath, "Yes, I do like you in that way. I think I always have, I never told you in fear that you didn't return those feelings and that it would jeopardize our friendship. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." He apologized.

"Pete, you don't need to apologize. You don't even need to feel scared because, I like you too."

His eyes lit up as he smiled, "Good. Cause' that makes this much easier to do." He said before he leaned in and kissed you gently. When you pulled away, you rested your forehead against his.

"Man, I've been waiting to do that for forever." He whispered with a smile.
