When Clint carried you up to his room for a night of love a passion, what you ended up finding there wasn't surprising but still overly odd. As soon as he dropped you onto what you assumed was a perfectly normal bed, something instantly felt wrong. Moving your arm across the bedding, it was clear there were multiple quilts and pillows spread around, but there was what seemed like a wall of pillows around the edge.

Shifting slightly you could see through the dim light that the bed was surrounded in pillows, and it looked uncannily like a nest.

As you turned back to Clint who was leaning over you, going to kiss you but things weren't going to go his way- well not yet anyway. You pressed your hand against his chest, holding him at a small distance with a laugh escaping your lips.

"What?" He questioned.

"Can you turn on the light?" You asked attempting to not laugh.

"Why?" He seemed shocked and confused by your question although with annoyed with the fact that you were putting off what he clearly wanted to do.

"Please," you insisted.

He let out a groan getting up and pulling the light chord. The overhead light switched on, revealing the truth of what you had assumed.

You sat up crossing your legs, throwing your hands up to your mouth attempting to swallow the laugh that inevitably erupted from your lips.

"Why are you laughing?" Clint asked.

"You sleep in a nest."

You were sat in the middle of a bedding nest made of a mixture of pillows and blankets that granted looked a bit like a mess but still highly resembled a nest.

"Please stop laughing," he sighed falling back onto the bed, hiding his face with one of the pillows.

"But you sleep in a nest," you laughed, leaning back so you were lying by his side.

"I know that."

Your laughter continued, causing your sides to ache due to the vicious laughing that was expelling you. Wheezing, you rolled to your side so that you were looking at your boyfriend. He rolled over as well with a sad expression. You reached your hand out to rest on his cheek, pulling his face closer to yours so that you could kiss him.

"You're so adorable," you smiled at him.

"I'm never going to live this down am I?" He asked.

You furrowed your eyebrows as if you were thinking. "Let me give it a think... No."

He rolled his eyes at you, turning back onto his bed with a deep sigh.

A short giggle slipped from your lips before you grinned and did your best of a non-descript bird call.
