You couldn't help but laugh at your husband's futile attempt to correctly tie the strip of fabric that hung around his neck. It was humorous that he didn't know how to do it but you did feel sorry for him as he was getting annoyed by the fact that he couldn't do it.

"Y/N," he whined aggressively dropping the ends of his tie and pouting like a child.

"Yes, Love?" You smiled softly looking away from the mirror that you were looking in to do your hair, but ended up using to see his annoyed reflection.

"Why do I need to wear this torture device? I didn't even wear a tie to our wedding, so why do I need to wear one as a guest to your sister's wedding?" He frowned.

You laughed at his annoyed expression, kneeling down in front of him so that you could correctly tie his tie for him.

"It makes you look like a proper gentleman. I know that is hard for you Love, but I think she would appreciate it if you didn't look like your everyday mess for the happiest day of her life," you said reassuringly.

He grumbled incoherently, not seeming impressed by your explanation for how he should have to wear a tie.

"I can look neat without a tie. You look neat and you're not wearing a tie," he pouted.

"Sorry Clint, I'm not letting you borrow one of my dresses again especially for my sister's wedding. You wore one of my dresses to our wedding so it's not happening again," you shrugged.

He rolled his eyes. Sometimes you questioned whether he was your husband or just an oversized teenager.

"I save the world every goddamn day without wearing a tie. Nobody who ever saved the world needed to wear a tie," he frowned.

"Clark Kent wore a tie," you informed him.

His nose stuck up in disgust.

"Why don't you marry Clark Kent then?" He grumbled.

"Oh Love, don't be so silly," you laughed. "I'm by far more of a Bruce Wayne girl."

Clint turned his head away from you expressing how dramatic of a man he was constantly.

You held onto the tie you had perfectly tied around his neck, sadly not tight enough, pulling it slightly to bring his lips to yours.

"Don't be a big baby Barton," you stated. "Wear the tie for today and then you won't have to wear one again, until we need to go somewhere formal."

He tried to smile but you knew he was still annoyed.

"Fine. But if the tie disappears throughout the day, I didn't do it and it wasn't my fault."

You rolled your eyes knowing this was the best thing you were going to be able to get him to agree to.
