Generally, your fiancé was a headstrong and determined woman, but as soon as she hit a snag at work it seemed as though the world was about to collapse. Even if Hope was a very intelligent woman she could be overly dramatic for no apparent reason. You loved her, really you did, but she could be a very pessimistic person which sometimes made everything feel impossible for the both of you.

Although your intelligence was fairly excelled, you had no idea what Hope was doing at work currently, but from her incessant swearing and shouting, you assumed things weren't going too well for her.

"It can't be that bad," you offered attempting to be encouraging but seen as you didn't have any real insight in the situation it was a little hard to do.

"If I don't figure this out, everything is going to go to shit and I practically lose everything to do with the business. Why does this always happen?" She practically shouted into the air.

You reached across the table to grab her hand. She went to flinch away from you but happily let you hold her hand as she always did when you comforted her.

"Hey, calm down. It will all be okay. It always is okay. Just have a little faith," you smiled softly.

Instantly he major breakdown halted as she looked up from the paper on the desk, cocking an eyebrow at you. A soft laugh escaped her lips as she began to shake her head in a disappointed manner.

"What?" You questioned, frankly completely confused as to why she was acting this way.

"I expected better from you," she sighed once more acting as though she was a disappointed parent rather than your fiancé whom you were attempting to cheer up.

Now you were the one expressing a puzzled look. You honestly had no idea what she was on about, you had been doing your best to help her feel better about her work but she then started acting peculiar.

"I honestly have no idea what you are on about," you said furrowing your eyebrows.

She let out another laugh.

"You should have told me to have hope," she grinned as though what she was saying was the upmost greatest genius.

You groaned at the terrible pun, rolling your eyes. You let go of her hand to show your distaste to the pun.

A genuine smile appeared on her face as she looked at you.

"Thank you for helping me. And it was a good pun, don't deny it," she smiled softly.

Within seconds your smile mirrored hers.

"It was terrible Hope. But if it makes you feel better you just need to stop being so pessimistic and look on the brighter side once in a while."
