Sugary goodness lay all over the dining table waiting to accompany their friends in your stomach. All the sugar was what you needed when you were in such a rather low moment. You had spent most of the day baking various sweet treats, ignoring the fact that lunch had rolled past and now dinner was about to occur and you had made nothing for it. Rather than ponder on societally proper meals that you should really abide by, you picked up a slice of cheesecake and took a bite out of it. The sugar didn't numb the pain of the day, but it did make it somewhat feel better due to the enjoyment you gained from eating them.

Wanda had been out for most of the day, so when she walked into the dining room she had a confused look that you expected from her. Although she was probably still rather lost to the fact of what was occurring she was unable to contain her laugh.

"Shouldn't you have dinner first?" She quipped, looking rather proud of herself over the concept.

You shook your head forcefully scooping a heaped spoonful of angel delight into your mouth. "No. Only dessert." You attempted to talk although it was muffled from the chocolatey goodness you were eating.

She sat down on the dining chair that was next to yours, resting a gentle hand on your knee.

"Did you have a bad day, Love?" She asked sweetly, caring dearly for you.

You nodded your head plopping a profiterole into your mouth to not allow a moment without sugar being pumped into your system as though you needed it like oxygen.

She gave you a pitiful smile leaning in to peck your check as she gave your leg a gentle squeeze to assure you that she was there for you. Wanda grabbed the blanket that hung over the back of her chair and wrapped it around you to keep you warm and comforted.

"Can I join you?" she asked.

You nodded your head knowing there were certainly too many baked goods for you to eat alone although you were certainly willing to take the challenge.

She gave you a warm smile picking up two macaroons, hand feeding you one of them before eating the other herself. As you both chewed on your food, Wanda leaned in to kiss your forehead assuring you that even if you had a bad day she always loved you and would be there for you no matter what.
