1980
FOUR YEARS LATER

"So what do you both think?" Freddie asked when he turned around to face the blue-haired girl and the blonde-haired man. The girl nodded, looking around.

"Gayer," Roger answered before Gisele could. Gisele slapped Roger's arm before she turned to face Freddie and the portrait behind him.

"Not this, darling," Freddie pointed at the mustache before gesturing at the inside of his new home. "The house. Isn't it amazing?"

"It looks wonderful Fred," Gisele smiled excitedly at her friend. Excited that he bought himself a new house and he was living his life. Although he didn't have Mary in his life anymore, he was grateful that he at least had his best friends by his side.

"Mary's already moved in next door," Gisele smiled sadly when she heard that, hearing the love Fred still withheld for the girl. Gisele couldn't bear watching the two like this. She just wished it hadn't come to this.

Gisele hear Freddie talk as she walked around with Roger, chuckling when she heard that Freddie's cats each had their own room. She shook her head as Roger linked her arm with his.

Gisele smiled at how much excitement Freddie's voice held. He was excited on the new change of house and he was excited for the things holding for him in the future. Freddie smiled at the two, smirking. He never knew that his plan on getting the two together would take this long.

Gisele snapped out of her thoughts when Freddie sang, scoffing softly as she crossed her arms. He was just so talented and Gisele couldn't be any more prouder of him.

"I knew you both would appreciate it," Freddie said, smiling at the two as he held their arms. "Stay for dinner. Both of you. Anything you fancy."

"I can't," Roger said. "I need to help Gisele's family move in. I promised them. I'm sorry Fred."

"I'll stay for dinner," Gisele butt in, noticing the solemn look on her friends face. "We can have a sleepover if you like."

"Thank you darling," Freddie smiled gratefully before he turned to look at Roger. "Of course."

Gisele walked around more, hearing Roger mumble something to Freddie. The girl smiled at the cats before she admired the way her siblings were fighting playfully. Sabrina and Johnnie, both twenty years old. She was thirty and she was enjoying that. Nicole did her a favor by taking care of the siblings before they finish college. Nicole was thirty-four years old and she looked as beautiful as ever. And for Gisele's aunt, she lived in memory along with her mother. The house they had currently lived in was a house Gisele still paid for, not wanting to let go of the house that withheld memories of her mother and aunt.

"Gisele, are you coming?"

Gisele perked up, immediately heading towards Roger. She placed a hand on Freddie's arm, smiling softly at him. "I'll come by later, sweetheart."

Gisele smiled uncomfortably at the people she passed by at the party Freddie was throwing. Unlike the other members, Gisele was looking around and was trying to look for Freddie. She sighed as she gave up looking for him, heading towards the group. She was wearing the usual: her high waisted striped wide leg pants with a velvet crop top and her boots. She just didn't care how she dressed as she usually looked good with those pants and shirts.

"Darling!" Freddie said out loud when he saw the other lead member of Queen. The members looked at Gisele, their eyes never leaving her figure as she placed a fake smile on her face. Freddie turned to look at Brian. "Fabulous isn't it?"

"If you say so."

Gisele sat down next to Roger, his arm wrapping itself around her. He only let go when Paul served Freddie more wine and he tried to get more. He leaned back though when Paul pretended he wasn't even there.

"You're starting to look like each other," Brian commented, looking in between Freddie and Paul. Gisele sighed again when she saw the looks Paul was giving Freddie.

"What's wrong with that?" Paul asked.

"You're supposed to be in a rock band Freddie," Brian ignored Paul.

Roger looked at Paul as he stared at the singer in his arms. He tightened his grip on the girl's shoulders, bringing her closer to him.

"I was born like this," Brian said, pointing at his curly hair. The band laughed and Paul didn't dare do anything as he stared at them all.

Freddie immediately stood up. "Come on! Let's dance."

"I don't dance Fred."

Gisele looked around for a clock, noticing the time that she needed to go so she could check up on Mary who was sadly saddened. Gisele did her a favor to come over to her house so they could both go out and drown themselves in their feelings.

"It's my party and I demand you all to dance."

"We should go," Roger told Gisele as she looked at Freddie. She was skeptical to leave Freddie in the hands of Paul. But it seemed as if Freddie was comfortable in his eye. "We're gonna go. Actually."

"You both have become so dull and boring," Freddie commented, looking at the two. He faced Gisele. "I remember you were the life of the party Gisele. Do you remember? What happened to my wild best friend? You seem so boring Gisele and I won't stop you from going to your house and drowning in self pity. Either way, I think I found myself someone that cares enough."

Paul snickered and Gisele glared at him.

"Well I'm glad Fred," she nodded. "But just know that I'll still be there when shit goes down. I'm with you 'til the end of the line, Fred."

"Oh, darling," he scoffed. "You need to stop saying stuff like that. That'll end things more between you and another person. Leave those sayings for songs or at least leave those words to men to put in songs."

Gisele nodded, feeling saddened by the fact Freddie said that. She knew he knew that she was self conscious by her being in a band with men and she received a short amount of sexist comments by men.

"You got your little pet," Roger said, motioning go Paul. "You have enough already. We're leaving."

"Talk to me when you can handle your liquor Fred."

As they walked away, the band followed after and Brian slapped Freddie's shoulder.

"That was low for you mate."

"It was a joke."

Deaky stepped in. "You need to be more careful with your words Freddie."
