1 what's one Wattpad goal? 

A Wattpad goal of mine is to have my book: Portray, published and completed before a year is up. I feel, for this to be my first book... it will be an astonishing accomplishment. 

2 are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment? 

honestly, yes! it's rare & each one gives me courage to continue writing since my work is somewhat depressing. it must be done tho. 

3 what's your favorite snack?

my favorite snack is cookies & cream ice cream. or Lay's Southern Heat BBQ chips.

 4 what's your favorite holiday and why? 

my favorite  Spring, it's not too hot or cold, weather is just right with the flowers and trees blooming each day the sun comes out.

5 what's your favorite thing about Wattpad?

favorite thing about Wattpad is the fact that you can get reviews on your book within minutes of publishing your work. you get a sense of support knowing that you don't have to get an agent or publishing deal in order for someone to take your work serious.

 6 what's a good piece of advice for a newcomer? 

I'd advise them to take their work serious, always work on your craft & improve it as often as possible because there are many people looking in on you & one day you will get your chance to take that big leap to evolve to a bigger and better writer!

7 how would you celebrate a publishing deal ?

I would celebrate a publishing deal by having a some drinks with a few close friends & cook the biggest T-bone steak I could find. maybe get a room at Motor City Casino at the top floor so we could drink & enjoy ourselves while looking at the Canadian bridge. (Downtown Detroit)

 8 what inspired you to write? 

what inspired me to write was the fact that at ten, I struggled with reading/writing. In the 6th grade, my teacher gave the class a writing assignment to make up a Halloween story. I was the only one besides this girl who participated, yet looking up at the class smile at me after I finished made me want to do it again. 

9 what's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist? 

a song I enjoy is Hold Ya Head, by Tupac Shakur. it's a deep song that was a tribute to many young men living their life behind bars & facing harsh sentences. I like to listen to the song when I'm not feeling my best at times. Gotta hold ya head!

10 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what you would you do? 

tho he's no longer here with us, I would def wanna hang with Paul Walker. I would wanna go to L.A & visit the Hollywood studios he worked at & just hang with the guy. He seemed like a real, down to earth man. You are truly missed Paul. Rest in Power brother.  

11 what's your favorite story? 

 my favorite story is "If Beale Street could talk" by James Baldwin. very powerful book that ages well with time. I like the fact that it captures the true nature & corruption the black community endured in the early 60's!
