Well, I turned her into an OC.

I made up a 'species' I'm calling Soul Guardians. When they first become one, they are pure white, wings and everything. They also have no face tattoos.

They protect souls from being forcibly taken from the body from unnatural forces. What they do is temporarily bind themselves to the soul, giving the soul carrier a burst of energy, and sort of making a barrier around the soul itself. The only ways they can be unbinded is if the soul carrier dies, the Soul Guardian goes unconscious, or if the Soul Guardian feels the threat has left and unbinds themselves.

The first time they bind to a soul, they get black tips on their wings. This is the only time wings change.

If the soul is taken while they are bound to the soul, or they go unconscious while bound to one, they basically 'failed' in protecting the soul.

Every time they fail, their outfit becomes darker, they get a sort of tear streak going down their face, and a white dot appears next to it. Up to ten dots can appear, before the dots start getting darker. (only one dot appears, not two to make the other side match.)

Just an FYI as well, each success reverses it. It's like a ratio of black and white, I guess. Each fail is a drop of black, and each success is a drop of white.

Btw, their wings glow a lil bit.
