Marinette's POV

It's been a few days since we've returned to Paris. We had a few days off before going back to school. Today, was Saturday and we would be returning to school on Wednesday. So, many good things came from the trip. Adrien and I becoming a couple and the same happening with Alya and Nino. Just the experience of going to California, was amazing. But, the good always comes with the bad. Like the drama Chloe caused which hopefully doesn't continue in Paris. I was currently in my room finishing  unpacking, when my phone beeped. I picked up my phone to see a message from Alya.

Alya: Hey girl

Mari: Hey, what's up

Alya: I was wondering if you wanted to go to this new cafe for some girl time!

Mari: Sure! What time?

Alya: I'll be at your house at 4

Mari: Alrighty, cya then

Alya: Cya!

I put my phone down and started to get ready. I changed into light pink sweater with black jeans and black boots. I styled my hair into my usual pigtails. It was mid- November in Paris so, it was getting a bit chilly. I looked at the time and I had 30 minutes until Alya arrived.

"You look nice today." Tikki complimented.

"Thanks Tikki." I replied back. I grabbed my sketchbook off my desk and started to design some winter hats. After, a few minutes the doorbell rang, and I grabbed my purse and rushed downstairs. I swung open the door to see Alya with a bright smile on her face. She then hugged me tightly and I returned the hug.

"I missed you so much Mari." Alya said happily.

"It's just been a few days Alya." I giggled.

"I know, but it feels like forever." She laughed, as she pulled away from the hug.

"So, are you ready to go?" Alya beamed.

"Of course." I locked the door not forgetting to take the key. We made our way to the new cafe, a few blocks from my house. The cafe's name was La Creperie, when we entered the cafe it had light pastel walls, and booths. I could smell the scent of coffee beans, and baked goods. We chose to sit in a booth near the window.

"So, how did you find this new cafe?" I asked.

"Well, yesterday when I was taking a walk I stumbled upon it. So, I thought it would be nice to hang out with my bestie here." She responded.

"I'm glad we get relax a bit before going back to school." I replied.

"Totally agree with you on that one girl." She chuckled.

"Have you decided what you're going to order?" I questioned.

"Hmm.. probably a croissant and a vanilla latte. What about you?" She questioned back.

"I'll probably have a croissant too and a strawberry frappe." I answered. When the waitress came over we repeated our orders. Our orders would be ready in a few minutes so Alya and I continued chatting. 

"So, have you hung out with lover boy since we came back?" Alya asked curiously 

"No, his father wanted him to continue modeling as soon as we returned." I sighed sadly.

"Don't worry Mari you guys will hang out soon. So, turn that frown back around."

"Thanks Alya, you're right." I giggled. The waitress came back with orders and began to enjoy our food. After, finishing our food we payed for our bill and made our way out of the cafe.

"Hey wanna go to the park?"

"Sure, I have to be home by 7 anyway."

"Ok, let's go." 

Alya grabbed my arm dragging me to the park. "Why are you so excited to go to the park?" I asked curiously.

"You'll see." She answered. 

When we arrived at the park it was vacant. It was around 5 o'clock at this point. There was pink flower petals scattered around the whole park. In the center there was a picnic blanket and basket with a heart shaped candle in the center. My eyes widened when I saw Adrien walking towards me with a bouquet of pink roses in his hand. I turned to my right to see Alya giving me thumbs up and pushing me closer to Adrien. She whispered in my ear.

"Enjoy your first date girl."

And with that she was gone, which left Adrien and I alone in the park. I could feel my heart beating out of chest from looking at scene Adrien set up. He did this for me.... How did I get so lucky?

"Beautiful roses for the beautiful princess." Adrien handed me the roses and gave me that heartwarming smile that always seemed to make my heart melt. 

"Thank you. This is amazing, thank you kitten." I smiled warmly at him.

"Anything for my Princess." 

 Adrien interlaced my hand in his and lead us towards the blanket. We sat down our sides touching. I felt tingles run down my spine from being close to him. I rested my head on his shoulder still taking in the scenery around us. The sun was beginning to set and there were different hues of pinks and orange. Sunsets were always my favorite part of the day. I turned to face Adrien to realize his eyes were on me the whole time. His eyes always gave me a sense of warmth and comfort. "How was your day?" I asked.

"It was great, how was yours?" He questioned back.

"Amazing!" I answered happily.

"How so?" He questioned.

"Because, I get to see you." I answered softly. He kissed the top of my head. 

"I missed you Princess." He whispered.

"I missed you too." I whispered back.

Adrien opened up the picnic basket and took out the food he packed. Like sandwiches,  pink lemonade, and macaroons. He poured me a glass of lemonade and it handed it to me.

"For the Princess." He smiled.

"Why thank you," I giggled. I took sip of the lemonade and tasted the sweet flavor and coolness of it. "How did you know pink lemonade was my favorite?" 

"Alya may have helped a bit." He answered shyly. 

"Aww it's amazing you did this." I spoke.

"Not as amazing as you." He replied. 

After, the date Adrien walked me home. As we reached the front door, I was about to thank him when his lips crashed against mine. We kissed in passion and I could feel a million sparks as we kissed. We pulled away from the kiss and he pulled me into an embrace. 

"See you Wednesday." He whispered in my ear and with that he left.

~~Wednesday~~

My alarm rung out and I shut it off almost immediately. I open my eyes and wait for vision to clear. I picked up my phone to see I have 45 minutes to get ready for school. I quickly got up and took shower. After, I showered I changed into the outfit below. I styled my hair into a bun.

When I finished getting dressed I grabbed my backpack and purse, then made my way downstairs for breakfast. When I entered the kitchen I smelled the scent of banana pancakes. Mama was setting down the plate when I made my way to my seat. "Good morning Mama." I spoke as I kissed her cheek.

"Good morning Marinette." Mama responded pulling me into a hug.

I pulled away from the hug, sat down and ate my breakfast. After, finishing my breakfast I grabbed my things. "Bye Mama, Papa, see you later." I called out as I walked out. 

"Bye sweetie." Both of them called back.

I closed the front door and started to make my way to school. I entered the school and made my way towards my locker and began to collect my books for my morning lessons. As I continued to collect my books arms looped around my waist. 

"Miss me?" I heard Adrien whisper in my ear.

I giggled, "Yes, I missed you my kitten." I closed my locker after getting my books and turned around. Adrien still had his hands on my waist, taking in my appearance.

"You look beautiful. Even though you look beautiful everyday."

"Thank you, and you always look handsome." 

"Thank you Princess. Let's get to class before we're late." 

He took my hand in his and we made our way to class. We sat in our assigned seats and the four of us talked before class began.

"Hey girl!" Alya greeted.

"Hey Als, and Nino!" I responded.

"Hey dude and dudettes! Isn't it nice to be back?" Nino spoke.

"Back to the old routine." Adrien replied.

"Yep, but at least it's almost Christmas!" I responded excitedly.

Alya chuckled at my excitement and in that moment Mrs. Bustier entered the classroom.

"Good morning class, I hope you're excited to be back because I sure am! So, class before we begin today's lesson we have a new student." Mrs. Bustier spoke happily.

The door opened and a familiar face with brown hair and chocolate brown eyes stepped into the room. No it can't be...James?!
