Marinette's POV

Today was the day of the trip. I already had everything packed, now all I had to do was get up and get ready. I remembered that I have 1 hour before Adrien comes and picks me up, so we could meet our class at the airport. I put my hair into a messy bun and wore Chat Noir styled sweatshirt I designed myself. It was black with green paw prints on it. I grabbed a pair of leggings to wear and black converses. I went downstairs to have some breakfast and wait for Adrien. 

3rd Person POV 

"Morning Mama, Papa!" Marinette answered excitedly.

"Good morning Mari." Her parents replied back.

"Excited for your trip?" Her mother asked.

"Yeah, I can't wait! I could work on new designs when I get there and I could go shopping , go sightseeing, with Adrien~... I mean! Uhm- Alya...ᵃⁿᵈ ᵐᵃʸᵇᵉ ᴬᵈʳᶦᵉⁿ ᵗᵒᵒ..." Her parents chuckled, Marinette blushed as she sat down and ate some breakfast.

"I'm sure you will honey." Marinette's mother commented.

20 minutes later...

The door bell then rang, and Marinette got up from the couch to answer it. She found that the one ringing the bell was Adrien. He was wearing a red sweatshirt with black spots on it and black jeans, instead of his usual outfit.

"Hey Mari, you ready?" He asked.

"Oh h-hi Adrien, yeah I'm ready. Oh! C-Come on in, I just need to grab my stuff."

Marinette held the door open for Adrien, and he walked into her home, then dashed up the steps to grab her luggage, not wanting to make Adrien wait.

 Adrien greeted Marinette's parents. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Dupain Cheng."

"Hello Adrien." Marinette's father replied back.

"Nice to see you again." Marinette's mother responded. "Would you like to have some croissants while you wait for Marinette to return?"

"That would be great, but my father put me on a diet for modeling." Adrien replied sadly.

"One croissant wouldn't hurt, now would it?" Marinette's mother reassured him.

"Well..I guess not." Adrien answered back. Marinette's mother handed him a croissant. He took the croissant and bit into it, it was warm and soft. He then devoured the whole thing in another bite.

"That was really good Mrs. Dupain Cheng!" Adrien exclaimed happily.

"Thank you Adrien." She smiled.

Marinette came downstairs with her luggage, and hugged both of her parents. Marinette's dad handed her box of sweets from the bakery. 

"Bye! See you guys in 3 weeks. I'll miss you both!" Marinette said before leaving her parents embrace.

"We'll miss you too sweetheart, take pictures for us!" Marinette's mother replied.

The two then left to the car. Adrien then held the door to the limo, Marinette stepped in blushing a bit.

30 minutes later...

The two teens arrived at the airport and checked in. They found their class near gate 7, and walked over to the class. Alya and Nino waved for Marinette and Adrien to come over.

"Hey guys, you ready for the trip?!" Alya grinned.

"Yeah, totally." Adrien replied back.

Alya and Nino started talking to each other, while Marinette and Adrien stood awkwardly. Suddenly, Chloe came dashing towards Adrien.

"ADRIKIIINNNNNSSSS!!!" She yelled, Sabrina was following behind her, as always.

"Wha-AH!" He barely managed to dodge her 'hug'. "What do you want Chloe?!" Chloe fell on the floor, but quickly stood back up and faced Adrien.

She had a look of slight determination on her face, she said, "I want you to be my partner! Isn't it obvious?!" 

"Sorry Chloe, but Marinette is my partner."  Adrien assertively replied.

"Ugh, why would you want to be with MariTrash when you could be with moi~." Chloe replied rudely.

"What are you talking about Chloe! Marinette is amazing and I'm glad she's my partner." 

Marinette blushed a bright pink.

"Flight 547 to California is now boarding. I repeat, Flight 5-4-7 to California is now boarding." The announcer instructed on the loud speaker. The whole class then started to board the plane.

Marinette's POV

Everyone found there seats, luckily our seats were across from Alya and Nino.

"Would you like the window seat Mari?" Adrien bowed.

I managed to blurt out, "U-Uhh yeah sure, t-thanks Adrien!" We both sat down.

"Have you ever been on a plane before?" Adrien questioned.

"N-No this is my first time actually... I'm kind of nervous."

The plane started to move, I grabbed hold of Adrien's hand. 

I realized what I had done and jerked my hand away and apologized, "OH-MY-GOSH! I'm SO SORRY ! I-I-I didn't mean to..." I could feel myself turning a beet red.

 "No worries, you must be scared right?" Adrien smiled and took hold of my hand, "You can hold my hand if it makes you feel better."

"O-Oh thanks Adrien."  He squeezed my hand to reassure me everything would be fine. The plane was now finally in the air and I looked out of the window in amazement.

"Wow, it's beautiful." I whispered.

"Yeah it is." Adrien replied smiling.
