Alya's Point of View

Ladybug threw her lucky charm in the air, and Jagged Stone and his crocodile returned back to normal. "Pound it!" Ladybug and Cat Noir said happily together. "Your earrings, Ladybug!" Cat Noir pointed out. "Your ring too Cat!" She pointed out, and the two ran off in different directions. 

This was my chance. I still had a few minutes of battery life - I could easily film this. Ladybug's identity is as good as revealed. I quickly pulled up my camera and started to record as I quickly ran after Ladybug. 

There was a building with a bunch of wooden pillars and Ladybug hid behind one of them. I hid behind one that was a few rows down, but made sure I still had a good view. I didn't dare make a sound as I quietly waited to put the video of the century up on my Ladyblog. 

Marinette's Point of View

"Tiki, spots off!" I demanded, and my mask and costume disappeared. Tiki flew in front of me, but then as I tried to hand her a cookie, her eyes went wide with worry. "What is it?" I asked. She pointed behind me. I looked over and saw...

Alya with her phone out, recording the whole thing. Oh holy shit, she probably saw me! "Um... Alya! Glad to... see you, I was just... um... hiding from the supervillian! Yeah, that's what I was... doing?" I stammered as Tiki quickly flew into my bag. 

"Marinette! YOU'RE LADYBUG?!" Alya said in surprise, as she quickly stopped recording. "No... of course, not. I mean, why would I be Ladybug? She has magical superpowers, but the only superpower I could possibly have is super-awkwardness! I mean, what made you think I was her?!" I asked nervously. She walked over and showed me the video. Unfortunately, she HAD recorded the whole thing. 

I got down on my knees and begged her. "Alya, please don't tell anyone! I'm really sorry I never told you in the first place! Our identities are meant to be a secret! If you put that video anywhere online, my life is over!" I said. I tried to be super over-dramatic, so that a bell would ring in her head and she'll delete it straight away. But luckily she took it a little more chill than I thought she would. Luckily she's not really over-dramatic like I am. 

"Chill, girl! I wasn't going to put it anywhere online! Sure, the whole point of my Ladyblog is to one day post a video where I reveal Ladybug's identity, but since you're my best friend, I promise this video will never go anywhere other than my gallery...!" She said. I stood up and sighed in relief. "And maybe attached to an email to Adrien!" She finished. "WHAT?! You said you wouldn't put it anywhere online! An email counts as being online! And what if he ACTUALLY clicks on the email and watches it! He'll probably put it on Facebook or YouTube to get views, and then my life will be over!" I shouted in dismay. 

"Yes, but think about the positives! All boys like a brave, talented girl, and what better than a superhero? When he sees the video, he'll probably be super impressed with you and maybe ask you out on a date!" She said. "Okay, that is a positive, but what if HE puts it online like I said?" I asked. "Marinette, Adrien is super nice to you and everyone. He wouldn't do something like that." Alya pointed out. 

I looked down at Tiki. "Well... what do you think, Tiki?" I asked. She looked at Alya questioningly. "Please Tiki, just to help the best Ladybug you've ever had, not to mention your BFF! You know how much she's been wanting Adrien to notice her and love her like this!" Alya begged. "Well... as long as Master Fu dosen't find out about all of this..." Tiki started. "He won't, we promise! Besides, Master Fu probably won't mind himself as long as the email only goes to Adrien and absolutely no one else!" I said. "Well... alright. But let me see you actually send the email so I know it only goes to him and no one else, Alya." Tiki said. 

Alya stood next to me, and Tiki flew over her shoulder. She attached the video to an email and wrote: "Isn't this awesome? MARINETTE IS LADYBUG! How impressed are you, hm?" Then she typed up Adrien to be the only recipient of the email, and clicked send. Tiki looked at her and nodded, then flew back into my bag. 

"Come on, Marinette. Why don't we go and get some food? It is lunchtime after all, and you're probably hungry after fighting off another supervillian. By the way, am I allowed to call you Ladybug now?" Alya asked. "Yes, as long as it's not in school and not all of the time, then I'll allow that." I replied. 

"Oh... and I nearly forgot. Just to make sure I'm not tempted..." She pulled out her phone again and showed me her permanently deleting the video. I smiled gratefully, and then we both held hands and went to get some lunch.
