Eric: I'm waiting for some Ravioli

Ladan: Well that's just you...Now, what all you readers have been waiting for, Chapter 13!!!
~~~~~~~~
3rd Person POV
Nino, Adrien, and Ladan swam into the depths of the Atlantic ocean to save Kaden from the Kraken. They were a long ways down by now. They didn't feel the pressure of the water, but they did see their surroundings getting darker by the second. The only thing that helped them see other than the few beams of light from the surface was their shimmering celestial bronze weapons. Ladan was forcing herself to use a lot of power and energy to keep them alive, so she slowed down as Adrien and Nino quickly caught up. They each grabbed a hold of her arms as they swam faster.
Now, you may be thinking something along the lines of: Why doesn't she just heal herself with the water since she's a daughter of Poseidon? The answer is simple:
She is.
Its just taking quite a bit of power to make sure they don't get crushed, since they were really far into the depths of the ocean right now.
There was an eerie silence that surrounded them. Like a warning, as if something terrible is to come. In other words, the silence was a really bad omen.
They finally reached the bottom, where they saw the Kraken with Kaden in its grip.
"Oh thank the gods he's alright" Ladan sighed when she saw Kaden still alive.
"Maybe, but not for long" Nino shouted as the Kraken turned to face them.
Ladan's POV
I was happy to see Kaden was still alive. But I was also afraid. I don't want to see Kaden get hurt. I don't know how long we could stay here. I have to get us to the surface as quickly as possible.
"Um..Mr.Kraken?" I tried to speak my best in the Kraken's language. I haven't brushed up on my sea monster speaking skills in a while.
The Kraken made a roaring sound and I knew I was talking to it. "I'm a girl first off. And second, hi. My name is Karen" It/Karen said.
"Sorry, Karen. Could you please let my brother go?" I asked kindly.
"No. You demigods crossed into my sector of the ocean. That gives me the power to do what i want with him" Karen maniacally laughed.
"Please, can you let him go? He's my brother, a child of Poseidon, and I can't leave him. Please? I don't know what I'd do if I lost him. I love him too much" I pleaded, glad know one knew what i was saying.
"You're such a nice girl. You really love him as well." Karen smiled, or did whatever the Kraken equivalent of one was. "I had brothers once as well. I loved them with all my heart. Then, they started to terrorize mortals and grew famous in the waters around Scandinavia. They caused trouble and turned evil and cruel. Now, they want nothing to do with their sweet, kind baby sister."
"Oh, i see" I said sympathetically.
"Hey Ladan, what's going on?" Adrien asked me, not understanding the language of the Krakens.
"I'm busy boys. Go away" I said, accidentally still in Kraken. They didn't understand but it must've sounded like low roars. They took the hint and swam a few feet back. I think that they know by now not to get on my bad side.
"Thank you for this wonderful talk. It gets awfully lonely in my part of the waters. I guess i can let you and your brother go." Karen said. "Just remember to stay close to your family. You'll never know what you'll miss until its gone"
"Thanks, but i don't think i have enough strength to get us back up to the surface. Can you do us a small favor and help us?" I asked.
"Sure" Karen answered as her tentacles wrapped around our waists and she pulled us up at an amazing speed. Within a minute, we shot out of the water. I let go of the magic i used to create oxygen upon the feeling of cool breeze of fresh air. Karen calmly placed us on the boat.
"Attack!" Eric yelled as he prepared to crack his whip.
Uh oh. Kinda forgot about them.
"Guys, Stop!" I shouted, getting in front of them to block the way of their weapons.
"Ladan, let us fight this beast" Alya shouted before i interrupted.
"No!" I said before diving into the water to stay next to Karen. "Karen's my friend. She's harmless" I turned to Karen and spoke in Kraken. "I gotta go, but I'll visit you some day"
She set me back on the boat. "Bye Ladan, stay alive for me" She used one of her tentacles to push us towards our destination. I turned to see her waving us off. I waved back.
"You never said something that nice about me before" Kaden smirked and nudged me. My eyes grew wide. Shoot, he speaks Kraken to.
I nudged him back. "Well don't get used to it"
"Ladan, what happened?" Everyone else seemed to ask.
"I made a new friend." I smiled.
3rd Person POV
Eric groaned, shaking his head in annoyance. "Why is your first solution to make friends?"
"Because unlike you, I'm a nice person." Ladan spat.
"Why'd you make friends with a Kraken?" Mari asked.
"Because, Norse creatures are very different from Greek ones. Now, if you don't mind me, I'm going back to sleep to recharge. Goodnight and see you in the morning" She lay down and dozed off.
The sun had pretty much set by this time. They had spent a lot of time underwater. Everyone had fallen asleep except Kaden, who would take over the last of Ladan's time once the boat starts to slow down.
Time Skip
Ladan's POV
It was just past midnight when i woke up. Everyone seemed to be sleeping, excluding Kaden of course. We were about halfway there, making really good time. But what was to come?
It was really chilly out here on the waters at midnight. I went to grab my jacket from my bag and then noticed some things. Blankets and my phone which was giving me text after text after text. I grabbed the blankets, seeing as everyone was shivering. I put one around Alya and Nino, whose foreheads were lightly touching. I also put one around Mari and Adrien who were tangled in each other's arms while Mari was on Adrien's lap. Then I put one over Eric and handed the last to Kaden. I sat down and turned on my phone. I was getting a bunch of messages from my mortal friends, mostly Abeer. It must've been around 8 PM back in LA right now. I guess since I'm up, i could give her a quick call.
I face-timed her, knowing she wouldn't pick up if i just simply called her. Once she picked up, she started to talk very loudly.
"Where were you? Why didn't you answer my calls?" Abeer yelled at me. I simultaneously put my arm out as far as i could and Kaden covered his ears with his free hand.
"My gods, you're louder than usual today" I groaned.
"She must be happy for some reason" Kaden snorted.
"Oh shut it shy guy" Abeer aimed to Kaden. Kaden stuck his tongue out at her, which she couldn't see. "Where are you anyways?" I reversed the camera angle to show her the view of the boat and everyone in it. "You're on another boat sleepover without me? No fair!" She grumbled. I smirked, the mist was doing it's job perfectly.
"Y-yeah. Sure" I said. "But you know I'm on the other side of the country right?"
"Why'd you and Eric have to move in with your grandma and Eric's mom?" Abeer asked. That was the lie we made up to explain why we had to stay in New York.
"Because, Abeer" Eric started as he slided onto the seat next to me. Seems like he woke up. "I wanted to get away from my dad and step-mom and Ladan wanted to get away from her brother"
"Hey!" Kaden glared at Eric.
"Not you. We mean Aidan" I said.
"You know, you guys are pure evil" Abeer screeched.
"How so?" I asked.
"Because, first you pack your bags and go across country for 4 years without telling me until after you're there, you're always busy and never answer my texts. And you never visit or take me to fun places. You're busy doing other things like having boat sleepovers instead of talking to me-" I put the volume down and muted myself, seeing as she was going to be talking for a long time.
"Why did you call her? It's late and could've woken everyone up." Kaden complained.
"Do you know how many messages and missed-calls we get a day from her? It's at least 50 each for both Ladan and myself. Ladan had to shut her up, even if it was only for a little bit" Eric said, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Anyways, you woke me up so say goodbye and hang up so I can go back to sleeping" Eric said and went back to getting some shut-eye. I un-muted and said I'd call her again later. I then put my phone away and fell asleep.
Adrien's POV
Where am I? Why am I on a boa...oh, right, I'm on a quest. But what was that weight on my lap? I slowly blinked my eyes awake and looked around. Everyone else was already awake and looked to be having a serious conversation. Well, not everyone. I looked down to see Mari snoozing on my lap, us wrapped up in a blanket. I let my arms out from under the blanket and brought them around her small figure. I softly kissed the top of her head as she nestled into me. I decided to listen to the others' conversation.
"-and Mari and I were just seconds from detransforming. But, of course, Chloe didn't know that and tried to take selfies with us. Luckily, a sale in a nearby store distracted her just as we detransformed. That's the story of how Mari and I had revealed ourselves to each other." Alya said. I remember Mari telling me that story. We had already known about each other at the time and she was freaking out when it happened.
I looked down at the sleeping beauty on my lap. She was beautiful, even with her hair a bit messed up. I adjusted my position so she was leaning on my shoulder instead of my chest. It was so peaceful, I could sit like this forever.
What time was it anyways? My eyes tried to look towards the sun and i had to squint. It was pretty high in the sky, maybe 9 or 10ish? I've never been good at telling time from the sun though. My back hurt badly, probably because I was sleeping on this small, wooden boat.
I got bored so I scooted over next to Alya and across from Nino with Mari still on my lap. "What are you talking about?" I asked. Mari's a deep sleeper so we wouldn't have to worry about her waking up anytime soon.
" we're sharing stories" Alya replied. "Got anything juicy to share with us?"
"Um....no?" I responded.
"Yeah, sure." Nino rolled his eyes before smirking. "Oh! How about you and Mari's first kiss? You literally fainted from joy when you told me."
"Okay...umm" I started uncertainly. I looked down to see Mari still snoozing. I don't exactly want her to know about this. "Well, we had already shared a few kisses on the cheeks and foreheads by this point. It was a few weeks after we started dating. We were on a date at the Louvre. I was walking her home when we arrived at her place. I was saying goodbye when she leaned in and kissed me. It was a perfect first kiss and no kiss up till now has even come close to beating it."
Ladan started gushing. "Awwwwww, sooo cute!!!"
"Ok, anyone else have a story?" I asked, feeling a bit awkward now.
"We should tell the story of Delilah" Eric said.
"Oh no! I'm not going to tell the story of crazy" ladan replied, which sparked our interests.
"Please? Now I'm dying to know" Alya pleaded.
"Nope. Another time maybe though" for once, Alya didn't pry for more information and she stayed silent. "Changing topics, does anyone have a good akuma story?"
"Well, there was that time with Rose, aka Princess Fragrance. She had annoying minions who mindlessly said 'at your service princess fragrance' like brain dead zombies." I said. That was a particularly annoying day. Even worse when i found out i had become one of those mindless zombies.
"My favorite was animan" Nino started. "He could turn into all sorts of animals and was the reason Alya and I had gotten together."
"We happen to know a few people with that power." Kaden said.
"My favorite was Dark Cupid. That was when Mari kissed Adrien to break the spell. I wish I wasn't hit by an arrow so I could see it for myself!" Alya smiled.
"What?" I asked. I hadn't heard of that.
"Oops, Mari didn't want me to tell you that" Alya turned away. I'd have to ask Mari about it the next chance I got.
"I remember a good one" Eric said. "It was one of the Demeter girls who were trying to stop global warming by protesting in the city"
"Oh right, I remember her! She could turn any plants into her minions." Ladan chuckled. "That was a fun battle but the Nymphs got pretty pissed after."
I felt my princess move from under my grip and sat upon my lap as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. So cute! "What's going on?" She muttered as she yawned and stretched. That was when she realized she was on my lap. She turned away and leaned on me with her back against my chest. It was a normal occurrence, so she wasn't fazed by it.
"We're sharing stories" kaden said.
"Cool. I have a good one" Mari smiled.
"And which story would that be purrincess?" I asked her while I wrapped my arms around her so they were just under her breasts.
"The story of how I came to like you" she replied, looking up at me so I could see her gorgeous bluebell eyes and perfect smile that made her shine brighter than the sun.
"I love that story" I said before kissing her and letting her tell the story. She did so as I jumped in at random points to explain my point of view.
"...and so, I took the umbrella and stood there, speechless with the sound of thunder in the distance when the thing closed around me and I got stuck-" she said but I jumped in.
"It was so funny, I couldn't help but laugh. Then she got out of the umbrella and gave me this dorky smile" I said.
"And that's the story" Mari concluded.
"That was a good one" kaden noted.
"So adorable" ladan cheered.
"Meh" Eric shrugged.
3rd Person POV
By nightfall, they had reached land. They had decided against going on land for the possible monsters or akuma attacks. They found this river/canal thing they decided to go through.
In the morning, the docked on the side and got off the boat. They had no clue where they were until they got out of that area and to where the buildings were.
They had arrived in Paris.
"Why are we home?" Mari asked, looking up to the Eiffel Tower.
"Who knows. But we were probably supposed to be here for a reason"ladan sighed as she slung her bag over her shoulder.
"Well, if the fates wanted us to come,we should figure out why." Kaden said.
