(Regan's POV)
Grandmaster pulls me aside while everyone else is being seated.
"Regan, I need you and Shadow to promise me to be on your best behaviour."
"Why is that grandmaster?" I ask with curiosity filling my voice.
"We have a certain guest coming and you'd both remember her well since she despised you two." I clench my fists til they go white. I know exactly who grandmaster is talking about. Alexa Goldstone, she's the queen of the Goldstone kingdom that's nearby. She's hated Shadow ever since she jumped into my body. She was even persistent on trying to remove Shadow, the only problem with that is it can kill me along with her. I clench my jaw, keeping my anger towards Alexa in check.

"Why must she be here?"
"She's coming so that our kingdoms can team up against the demons. Be nice, that's all." With that grandmaster went to his seat at the head of the table, Neon is already sitting on left with Silvermay next and Mark is across from Silvermay on the right. There are only two seats left at the round dining table, the one on the right of grandmaster which is mine and the one that's in front of him which is for Alexa. I grind my teeth from just the thought of her.

Once we all seated a messenger announced Alexa's presence.
"Presenting her majesty of the Goldstone kingdom, Alexa Goldstone." As the doors open the messenger bows as Alexa enters. She's wearing her signature gold dress. The only thing on her that isn't gold is her jet black hair. As she walks in she looks start at me with that annoying smirk, I just glare back.

"Welcome queen Goldstone." Grandmaster announced while servants shuffle in with trolleys of food. "Please, make yourself at home." With that afternoon tea began.
