EPILOGUE

January 2020: Isabelle POV

It had been a rough few months. Over the months after Ash and I gave our statements to the police, life had almost returned to normal. Dean, Cass and Sam went back to hunting while I finished the first semester of my senior year. When Dean and Cass found out my rapist and I were friends, they got angry. However, Sam told them that it was actually normal for victims to build a closer relationship with their rapist after the fact. There were several cases where rapist and victim ended up dating and/or having consensual sex eventually.

Of course, I wouldn't dream of dating Ash since I had Cass. It took nearly a month before I even agreed to be in the same room as the angel and another two weeks before I allowed myself to get close to him. We finally kissed for the first time since the incident on New Years Eve when the ball dropped. The case never did make it to court. Since both Ash and I were 18 when it occurred and I had technically given him permission, they weren't calling it rape. Dean was furious about it, but I talked him down, said it was fine.

I was happy going into the second semester of my senior year. I helped the boys when I could, even going with them on a few hunts when I wasn't working on school. I had a loving father and uncle taking care of me. And of course, I would always have my blue eyed angel.
