Created by Homeworld (Yellow Diamond) after researching prehistoric predators for use in war long ago. Sapphire 'raptor is 6ft tall and rather quick on her feet. Her gem is one of her sharp hooked toes, and resembles a fossil when found on it's own. Her gem washed up on the beach near The Cave after being discarded and lost. She reformed on a rampage, only calming after defeat and once muzzled. Sapphire 'raptor doesn't seem corrupt, and is not the only Gem of her kind. She can create ice paths, and uses her future vision to track her prey.

Utahraptor Gems resemble a feared predator of an era long gone, and they were engineered with an innate insinct to hunt and kill Gems. But something happened during the experimental phase during war, and all these Gems were poofed and discarded of. They communicate by various sounds, but may refuse to speak normally. They have feathers, but some may lack such. They will chase anything and everything.
