After reading Doctmar123's "The Crow and the Blind Girl", I decide to do my own version but I'm using Resident Evil game in AU where no Zombies, B.O.W.S. and Bio weaponize virus like T-Virus & G-Virus. Just an ordinary people. That's all.

~Raccoon City~

It was night time in Raccoon City as the same in a suburban homes. However, a police car is seen driving towards the road and stops on a creaky house. A young police officer came out from the car, revealing a young man in early 20s.

(Leon Scott Kennedy)

This was Leon Scott Kennedy, a police officer who's been assigned here in Raccoon City Police Department a year ago from New York due of his successful duty back as NYPD officer.

He is not alone as the other door opens, revealing an Asian woman in a red dress with a police badge strap on the side of belt.

(Ada Wong)

This is Ada Wong, Leon's new partner and a former FBI agent. She transferred here in Raccoon City Police Department 3 months ago. Also, she was 2 and half years older than Leon.

Leon's old partner, Claire Redfield who is a sister to Chris Redfield, who is a lieutenant of RCPD's Special ops called "S.T.A.R.S." was chosen by UNICEF as a charity worker for the children, thanks to her work that helps the poor children especially the abused.

Now, the two were in-front of a creaky house.

Ada: What are we doing here, Leon?
Leon: We have a reports from several neighbors that loud noises and screams held on that house. I have felt it's another abuse case.
Ada: *sigh* I have a bad feeling about this.

Soon, they knock the door as it opens an angry face of a man in a late 30s.

Man: What do you want?!
Leon: Sir, this is Raccoon City Police Department. We got a reports from those neighbors beside your home about loud noises & screams in your house. Mind we check it out?
Man: Get out! There's no problem here!
Ada: Sir, we just check your house if something was wrong.
Man: I said get the f#©€ out! Who are you questioning to me, b#¢£¥!

Before Ada retorts back in annoyance, they heard a loud, feminine scream inside the house!

Leon: What the heck was that?
Ada: Let's check it out.
Man: *block them* It's none of your business! Get out!
Leon: Sir, I don't know what you're talking but this is police business.
Man: Wanna piece of me, huh!?

The angry man swings his bat to him but Leon, thanks to his training dodges and grabs the bat as he twist the man's arm at the back and holds him on the ground.

Ada: 'Cuff him, Leon.

Leon cuffs the angry man with the handcuffs. The man is still struggling to get out as he screams curses that Leon decided to tase him unconscious using a taser. A woman also in late 30s came and saw her husband cuff by two officers.

Woman: What are you doing to my husband?!
Ada: Ma'am, we are tried to talk to your husband about some noises but we heard a scream, he tried to block us what is going on and tried to attack my partner.
Woman: Shut the f#©k up! Release my husband now!
Ada: Not if we know what is going on to your home.

The woman screams and try to grab her hair but Ada trips her foot and cuff her behind on the ground before tased her unconscious.

Leon: Thanks, Ada. *sigh* What a delusional, crazy couple.
Ada: I've never seen them like that before. Are they drunk or in drugs?
Leon: I don't know. But we can check out what's the problem here.

The two separate each other to check out the house that the crazy couple lived. It was almost cleared until Ada reach in basement. She opens the door and saw something that will horrified her.

Ada: LEON!!!

Leon heard her yell and rushed to the basement.

Leon: Ada, what is it?

Ada pointed her finger as Leon look to the one she points. Leon's eyes widened and horrified what he had seen.

In-front of them was a short, black haired girl. Not just a little girl but a blind girl.

Her face was covered by scribbles of a black pen, bruises and her body(she wears a plain, light brown dress) were covered with faint black bruises and few scars. It appears she was not just abused but worse, she was tortured as on the floor, was a whip with blood on it and a chains tied her hands & neck that look like a slave from the history books or the movies but worse.

Leon & Ada were shocked and their hearts were broken. Surely, they rescued several girls from abused or rape but this girl is treated worse than them.

Ada: *shaky tone* L-Leon...w-what did t-they do to h-her?
Leon: *cold but emotional tone* Ada, release those chains and stay with her. I called the S.T.A.R.S. team and medics.

Ada nodded as Leon walk-off to call the back-up. She went to the girl as she remove the chains. The girl felt someone touch her and she was back away from Ada, feeling scared.

Ada: *smiles* It's okay. We're not gonna hurt you. *cover her with a white cloth*
Blind Girl: W-We?
Ada: We're the police. We heard your screaming and we rushed to rescue you. What happened? What did they do to you?
Blind Girl: They...t-they...did...

The Blind Girl broke down into a cries so hard that Ada hug her to comfort.

Later, the S.T.A.R.S team & medics arrived as the former hold the abusive parents of the Blind Girl for interrogation while the latter treated the Blind Girl's bruises and wounds in the Raccoon City Hospital.

The next day, the two were in meeting room along with S.T.A.R.S. team and its captain, Albert Wesker about the incident. Chris & his partner, Jill Valentine revealed some details that even themselves were pissed. It shows that the Blind Girl's parents have been abused & tortured her several months ago, due of her blindness. What worse that the former got bullied by some students & teachers in her school and the parents added more insult to her. Her parents called her(Blind Girl) nothing but trash because of her blindness.

This made Leon & Ada felt more upset & angry about these. That girl did not deserved this! Even Wesker being a cold hearted & strict person he was, is very pissed himself about these details and quoted, "It was one of the worst Child Abuse case I've ever heard in my life!"

So Wesker tasked Leon to find more about her, her name and other relatives of the Blind Girl while Ada assigned to be take care of the girl.

The news about the Blind Girl's abused & tortured by her parents, shocked the city & any places. The school too were heard about this and felt ashamed about these situations.

Later, it was under investigated by the Board of School Committee and after receiving some reports about the school's harsh treatment against the Blind Girl, they suspended the school until further notice and plan to rehabilitation. The principal, some teachers and other students who were bullied or assaulted the Blind Girl ended up losing their jobs and expelled.

The other people especially the neighbors were also ashamed and pitied that they send some apology letters to her while the Blind Girl was still treated.

In a few days, Ada & the Blind Girl began to close each other inside the hospital while the former hired a psychiatrist(to help the girl's mentality & sanity) and a blind teacher(to teach her physically such as writing & speaking). Ada also post a fund raising for an eye surgery to the social media which it received a dozens fund, including from Claire, S.T.A.R.S team, Raccoon City Police Department even the Mayor of Raccoon City & UNICEF as well.

Leon on other hand, he found her real name on her birth certificate: Carla. He tried to find the relatives via phone call but no one appears or receive a call.

Several days later, the two filed the case against Carla's parents for abuse, torture and a violation of Anti-Child Abuse law to the Court. And after a series of events, the jury had a decision.

Jury: The court found (Names of Carla's parents) GUILTY without reasonable doubt due of the torture & a violation of Anti-Child Abuse law and sentence to life imprisonment.
Judge: So ordered.

The judge pounds the gavel with a mallet as the police grab & hold the abusive parents out of the court while everyone including Leon, Ada & Carla(her eyes were covered by a black sunglasses and hold Ada's hand) look at them in a cold stare. The parents screaming so loud, cursing the girl & the two before the police tased them out as they drag them out the court. The judge look displeased & shook his head how crazy but evil the girl's parents are.

Carla: Is it over?
Leon: *smiles* It's over, Carla. You're free now.
Ada: *smiles* Your nightmare is gone, Carla. You can see now.

Carla remove her sunglasses, revealing the eye surgery was  successful . She released her tears that she is FINALLY free from her worst nightmare. She hugged them both and continue to cry her tears of joy.

Carla: Thank you, Mister Leon & Miss Ada. *sobs* Thank you.

The two hug them back and couldn't handle their tears rolling on their faces. Everyone including the judge saw this moment and does the same reaction.

Weeks after that, Carla was officially adopted by Ada due of the fact that no relatives appear to help her. She is now in a new school but unlike her old school who were treated her harshly, the new school welcomes her in a good but open arms. Carla made new friends such as Sherry Birkin & the Ashford twins.

A few years later, Leon & Ada were married in a private wedding ceremony as Carla became a ring bearer while their colleagues from work and others were witnessing the wedding. During a reception, Carla give her a emotional speech about her nightmarish life before rescued by those two who would become her new, loving parents.

After the speech, the newlywed couple approaches her and hugged as the latter hug them back and let out her smile & a tears of joys.

Carla, the once Blind Girl who suffered a worse fate, found a new life of peace with a new, loving family in the end.

AND DONE!

Thanks to RoyalofTime & Doctmar123's One-Shot story even though I don't like the Harem subplot, I give a happy ending for the Blind Girl.

The Blind Girl's name was unknown but I give a her name "Carla" which that was the name of Ada imposter in RE 6 game. Ironically, Ada killed the imposter Carla in the game while in this fic, Ada rescued a girl, also named Carla.
