From the grimy prison cell window, you watched as small boats of people, their hands and feet chained, were pushed out onto open water. Their fear was palpable from even here, and you shivered as you saw a young girl screaming for her mother, held back from jumping in the water by a man with a tight, pained expression. A hand was laid gently on your back, a gesture of reassurance, and you appreciated it despite how you couldn't tell if it was Caspian on your left or Edmund on your right providing the comfort.
