You smirked as Trumpkin raised the blade and took a swing at this strange boy. It was true, he and his three siblings had saved you and your dwarven friend from being drowned by Telmarine soldiers, but you'd still been wary to trust them. They claimed to be the Kings and Queens of Old; still, you were suspicious. It was in your nature to be distrustful of your fellow humans, as they'd caused you and your Narnian allies nothing but suffering in this world. Trumpkin had suggested a duel between him and the shorter of the two boys and you'd agreed, somewhat curious as to how this would play out.

To your great surprise, the boy who'd offered the challenge beat your dwarven comrade fair and square, leaving both you and Trumpkin staring with awe at him and his siblings in turn.

"You're really them."

Your tone must have amused King Edmund, for he smiled wryly at you and gave a small bow.

"King Edmund the Just."

You gave a little smile and bowed in return, truly impressed, as his brother nudged his arm, smirking.

"And you said I should leave off the last part."
