"WHERE IS SHE, YOU DIABOLICAL PRUNES?! I SWEAR TO ASLAN, IF YOU'VE HURT HER, I'LL-"

"She's in the mansion!"

Murmurs of agreement swept the invisible creatures around you and you were satisfied to hear a decent hint of fear in the replier's voice- still, what mansion? Edmund voiced this, visibly angry and impatient, and you nodded, reaching for the dagger you kept in the inner pocket of your vest in case you needed to attack one of the unseen assailants to get Lucy back.

As the first rays of dawn crept over the hills, the air began to shimmer before you and a large building began to take shape, fading into view as the beasts who'd taken Lucy began to brag about just how fierce and terrifying they were when they weren't invisible.

"Oh, that mansion."

While the other members of the crew of The Dawn Treader began laughing at the one-footed, dwarven-like beings who appeared from the air just a few moments later, Caspian raised an eyebrow at you and questioned, clearly amused;

"'Diabolical prunes'?"

You blushed and waved off his teasing, replying quickly;

"It was a spur-of-the-moment phrase."

"One that I'll never forget."

You sighed and the pink on your cheeks deepened as Caspian winked at you.

Oh, boy.
