Oh, how you wished you could get away from it all. This world was dragging you down, each day seemed like a struggle to get through. It was all the same, every waking hour of every waking day of every waking week, and it was weighing on you heavily. As you stood beside a group of schoolchildren on the same old train platform, listening to them mutter something about 'Narneeya' or whatnot, you started to sing to yourself, a habit you'd developed to keep yourself from falling apart due to the monotony of it all;

"Let me go, far away."

A breeze tickled your cheek, but you didn't notice and closed your eyes, humming for a moment before picking up the tune again, making up the words as you always did;

"Somewhere they won't ever find me, and tomorrow won't remind me of today."

Suddenly, you felt a small hand grab your own and you snapped your eyes open just in time to feel a great gust of wind, hear the loud whistle of a speeding train, and see the blinding sun appear just out of the tunnel. What caught you off-guard, though, wasn't the light or the wind or the signal, but the scent of the ocean and the distinct feel of sand beneath your shoes.

"Where am I?"

"Narnia!"

replied a young voice as the girl beside you dropped your hand in her excitement.

"Narnia?"

The four children, the only ones to be transported here with you (for that's all you could assume had happened), eagerly stepped out of the former-tunnel-now-cave toward the ocean as you clasped your hands over your mouth, awed beyond words.

Your wish had come true.
