Winner of the Before Naruto's Generation Category, 2017

Hello Miss Nashoba~! :3 It's a pleasure to be able to interview you, how are you today?

I'm doing great! Thank you so much for the interview by the way :) how are you?

I'm doing well, thanks for asking ^^ Now, let's get right into the questions. Congratulations on winning first place in the Before Naruto's Generation Category of the Naruto Watty Awards! How do you feel about that and what was your initial reaction to the news? Did you brag about it to your family and friends? ;)

Thank you! I was very excited when I received the news, I have a bit of a competitive streak so I definitely was excited to win haha. After I realized that I won I sent out a message to my followers because they're the reason I was able to win and I wanted to thank them for it... then I bragged after that to some of my close friends haha.

I'm sure it was a very exciting moment ^^ Your fanfic, Fireheart, has an impressive 1.2k votes in only 9 chapters! Please tell me, what was your inspiration? Was it something that came to you all at once or did the idea take a while to develop?

The idea took a while to develop. It started coming to me when I was in the middle of writing my other Naruto fic, mostly because I realized that both my own fics and others that I've read have main characters that want to be ninjas. It was pretty rare to see a fic that had a character that didn't feel comfortable with becoming a ninja, so I wanted to make one! I also love pre-Naruto generation stories because of how much wiggle room you have to write, you can totally make up most of the stuff yourself without confusing readers with the timeline. And so, I decided to make a pre-Naruto gen fic haha. The actual outline of the story took me about a week to make, but even to this day, I'm still tweaking things to my liking.

That's a logical thought process! And what do you think of your impressive 1.6k following? How and when did your rise to fame start?

I still can't believe that I reached over 1k followers tbh, and they're all so supportive as well! I have no idea what I did to deserve such amazing followers, but I am beyond grateful for each and every one. I'd say that I started getting followers because of a marvel fic I wrote (that is now unpublished), but what really brought people to my profile was my fic The Storm Bringer. Around the time I finished TSB I had reached about 500 followers, and then it sorta rocketed from there, especially once people saw it was completed and I also had a sequel going on.

Aw! You shouldn't have unpublished it! XD On the topic of your followers, since there's going to be quite a few of them reading this interview, is there anything you'd like to say to them? About yourself or about your stories?

I would like to say thank you guys so much for your support! I love writing with all my heart and the fact that people take time out of their day to read my stories makes me so so so happy. Between my two jobs and school I don't have a lot of time to write, so my updates are sporadic, and yet you guys still stick around and I'm eternally grateful for that!

I'm sure your updates are worth the wait ^^ On that note... let's go back to your stories. Which one is your personal favorite or which one are you the proudest of? Is it Fireheart or one of the other many you've written?

Ooh that's really hard. I'm pretty proud of most of my stories, but I have to say the one I'm most proud of is Guardian of the Storm! It took me around two years to write it and Winter (the main character) was one of my favorite characters to write. Throughout the story you can see my writing progress and I'm very happy with the ending. Of course, this means I also love The Storm Bringer since it is the first book, but the sequel will always have my heart :)

And if you were to enter the Naruto Watty Awards again next year, which story would you be entering?

Well, unfortunately all of my Naruto fics have been entered in either your watty (like Fireheart and GotS) or a different naruto watty, so I'm not sure if I can even enter anything haha. Though, if I do republish Of Criminals and Shinigami I probably could enter that!

To be so talented and successful on wattpad... I'm sure you had some support along the way! Other then your general fanbase, is there anyone you would like to give a shoutout to? Both on wattpad and not ^^

I would like to give a shoutout to toshouto (Sen), StellarHime (Lexi), and -atrabilious- (Rose) for dealing with my random ideas and story ideas that I spew out in the chat. Those three are part of the reason why I keep pushing myself to write better and better things, and they're the best support system I could ever wish for! Also, shoutout to everyone in the Savage Writer's Club for always being willing to help me with little details or questions I have about literally anything.

Last questions, if you could describe your writing style and how you like to structure your books in five words, how would you describe what has brought you so much success on wattpad?

Hmm... I'd choose imagery, action, relatable characters, and unique(ish) story ideas. Sorry, that was over five words but I'm a pretty wordy person haha.

And that concludes our interview! Is there anything else you'd like to say?

Thank you so much for this opportunity and your time! I had a lot of fun :)

Thank you for allowing me to interview you~ Bye!
