he acts overly tough at some times, and can become very 

self-centered at times. he is often manipulated, and is very

easy to deceive, although he is a rescue dog, and should be

caught up in worrying. bodhi likes to do other's work for the

person, and can become annoying & clingy when he starts to

talk and have a conversation. he will never say something or 

do something to make himself look weak, which often ends in

him being hurt, in pain, or not being able to speak his mind. 

strengths

bodhi is a very tough and independent dog. he often does not

rely on others, and tends to do things for himself, and in the

benefit of himself; but he cares for others more than he does

himself. he is very watchful and observant, and will protect his

family at all costs. bodhi tries to pull the fun out of others, and 

allow them to have a good time too. he can become overprotective

when in the presence of an unmated female, or his kin / owners.

bodhi is a very loving, and protective dog. he cares deeply about

his owners and his family, and always has the sense that he should

repay them for saving him from his awful state, and wishes he could

talk, to speak to them and thank them. he holds copious amounts of

love in his heart, and is very compassionate. he is a very extreme 

love-bug, and loves cuddles from his owner's children, and very much

likes being with his family. bodhi is a social dog, and likes going for

walks and meeting new dogs. although he is not one for fighting and

aggressiveness, he can sometimes become snippy and easily agitated

when another dog bad-mouths him being owned, or talks about him

and his family in a bad way. bodhi would do anything for his owners,

and hopes he could eventually do this for his future mate and pups. 

he is very open-minded, and loves doing new things, and going on 

adventures and road-trips that his family tend to take him on a lot. 

although he relies on his family, besides this he is independent, and 

could thrive on his own again, now that he's strong and up and going

again. bodhi acts tough sometimes, and is afraid to show his weakness. 

an extrovert and a very kind dog, bodhi does attract other females,

and other dogs want to be his friend, but he isn't the easiest to be 

around for more than a day or so. he becomes very clingy and also 

sometimes too pushy and overprotective. many females stray away

and think he is weird, because of his overly-kind nature, and sometimes

he tends to do oddball things. he does like different types of human 

food,like onions, that other dogs don't like. he knows a few dogs from

 the streets, and sometimes wanders when his owners aren't home, by 

jumping over the fence in his yard to talk to them. overall, bodhi is a 

very kind and sweetdog. he is a bit of an oddball, and loves attention

 and being a family pet. he sometimes gets ptsd thinking that his fam

 will leave him just like his otherowner did, and loves eating and

 swimming. he wants the best for others.

backstory

bodhi's mother and father were taken after he was born

by dog-catchers while they were walking in front of the 

alley where they were born, and they didn't notice his

brothers, sister, or himself there. bodhi was "abandoned",

and grew up in the alleyway with his brothers and sister,

under the care of his current foster mother named donna. 

donna took care of bodhi and his siblings until he was soon

adopted after being taken by the same animal control that

took his parents; but they brought him to a shelter, one that

took good care of him. at the early age of eleven months, a 

person adopted bodhi; but they grew to hate him, and soon 

became malicious and threw bodhi out of their home, leaving

him to die in the cold weather of his state, alone and very 

mistreated on the streets. for three months he stayed like this,

alone with nobody to care for him, getting caught in traps, and

getting into dog-fights; until he was taken to a shelter when a 

person saw him fighting with another dog, and called them. 

his new family consisted of only two, very young humans, 

who were in love. they adopted bodhi when he was around 

the age of one. they took him into their home, and their son

and daughter were born a few weeks after they had taken him

home. they soon moved to a colder state, and his owners'

"mate" would often use him as a sled dog, but just for fun.

bodhi grew up with his owners and also  in the love of their

two children. he became very overprotective of them both, and

was happy that he was now safe and in a good home, with two

loving children & two loving owners, who he called his own.
