- recap -

Bella looked uncomfortable and I tried moving her head onto my lap without waking her. All went well until 10 minutes later. She started to shake and to mumble.

I tried waking her by shaking her, "Bella, Bella wake up", I whispered. It didn't work and she started to speak louder. I couldn't make out what she was saying. I tried waking her again but nothing worked. Then she screamed and I shook her again.

She shot up crying and trembeling.

Chapter 7.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. Sshh" I tried calming her down before asking what happened. It didn't seem to work so I thought I should just try and ask her what happened in her - what I guess was a - nightmare.

BELLA'S POV

I was so tired I fell asleep again, bad idea. Sally had been silent for a while, but now she was back and worse than ever. I was dreaming about a wonderful family in LA where I would be accepted and I had lots of friends and I could do anything! But then there she was, what used to be a good friend of mine but now a monster. Sally... She used to be in all of my good dreams but that switched when I got into the Mortensons family. She ruined my good dream and the idea of having a good family in LA. Suddenly I wasn't so sure about this trip anymore.

Then I heard Max saying, "Hey did you have a nightmare?" I looked at him, tears still running down my face, "I don't want to go to LA anymore".

"Why?", asked Max.

"I'm scared."

Max wiped away some of the tears on my face. "You will love LA, I'm sure. There are so many fun things that you can do there and people are really nice." This calmed me down a lot.

Max had told me it was only 70 minutes until we would arrive in LA. He had shown me how to use the screen that was attached to the chair in front of me and now I was watching a movie to fill the last hour of the flight.

MAX'S POV

I saw Bella enjoying her movie and I began thinking that once we had landed I would never see her again. I felt I had bonded a lot with her and hoped the best for her.

The light for the seatbelts lightened up once again, so I fastened mine and then I looked at Bella's seatbelt to see it wastn't fastened yet. Must've gotten loose when she fell asleep. I gave her a little nudge and pointed to the seatbelt and then helped her fasten it.

She turned to me once again with those eyes saying that she was scared, so I tried letting her focus on showing her everything I could remember of LA while watching out of the window, showing her all the best places. She seemed to get back into the movie, that she had still playing. I helt her hand all the way through the landing.

Once we were back on the ground Nev got out next to me and got mine and his bag. I reached up to get Bella's bag and let her walk in front of me and out of the plane. She was looking her eyes out and we were only in the airport so it wasn't even that special.

We were waiting at the bag claim when I heard a woman saying "Bella? Bella?", which I saw Bella react on and turning around. I looked at the woman and saw an elder woman who looked very lovely. "She's here", I kinda yelled towards her. She looked over to us and smiled. "Hey, you must be Bella", she said once she had approached us. Bella immediately hid behind my leg, which Nev laughed about but I gave him the look to not.

The woman told Bella she was the headmaster of the orphanage she would be placed in, which would be an all girls orphanage. Bella seemed to like her and got a bit less shy around her. The woman told her and me her driver was waiting outside so they should get going.

"Do you have a business card, or an adress and phone number from the orphanage so I could get back in touch with Bella?" I had asked the woman, who was called Audrey I found out.

"Yes ofcourse you can", she told me. "Visiting days are twice a month and you will need to inform me if you're coming to one by calling me on this number", she said while pointing to the number on the business card she gave me.

"Bella", I said while crouching down. She walked over to me and gave me a big hug. "This is where our paths will split, you were an amazing airport neighbour." Audrey had to get Bella off me, which broke my heart a little.

The last thing I saw was Bella's crying face over the shoulder of Audrey walking out of the airport.

First of all, MAX LEFT CATFISH :(

Second, I haven't updated in forever and I feel bad but I hope you like this part. I don't think it's the best. I had to get into writing it again. But next part will be better! I've already started writing the next part so that won't be a long ass wait hahaha.

Tell me if you liked it and if you want to see something special happening in the story later on. I'm not really sure yet where I'm going to bring this story to.
