Jercy -  - Oneshot #43

Percy was sweating, bloody, and breathing heavily. His lungs begged for mercy, and his legs screamed each time me pounded them into the ground by his heels. (I do this, and walk fast. My feet hurt really badly all the time!)

"Percy!" Jason yelled, the teen running to his side. Jason panted, and the two quickly dodged a fire ball. A roar echoed through the thick, stone walls of the castle like structure they were in.

"How–" Jason let out a few breaths. Trying to regain air. "Does. (Breaths). This. (Breaths). Add up!" He exclaimed, leaning against the cold wall. Percy couldn't blame him.

He had been wondering the same thing.

For the past week, monsters have emerged. Not just from "Mythology" but from nowhere really! They appeared, attacked, and left.

No one really knew what was going on. Not even Annabeth! Which says a lot.

There were to many problems.

1. They weren't from Greek Mythology, or Roman

2. They could get past the camp borders

3. A new prophecy featured them!

And

4. They had no clue what these things were.

In short terms— it sucked.

"I don't know!" Percy snapped, he felt the stone walls slowly grow hot. "We can't stay much longer." Percy stated, "I know that!" Jason, this time, had snapped back at him.

"Well we can't just die can we Grace?!" Percy spit out, Jason looked at him.

His eyes held a certain glint to them. Percy couldn't comprehend what it was. It wasn't happiness, maybe sadness? No, it was to raw looking. Trust? Pft! Jason doubtfully trusted him after this month!

What could it be? Then, it hit Percy. Just like the flames that hit his back two seconds later.

He let out a scream, the wall had melted! Last time Percy checked, stone walls weren't suppose to melt. . . Unless they weren't stone!

"Percy!" Jason whispered alarmingly. Percy quickly flung himself into Jason, crashing into each other they rolled. Away from the wall, and to a safer zone.

"That was close." Jason told Percy. Percy only nodded in response, trying not to cry out as his back started to harden.

He smelled burning flesh, yet, his back was hardening like clay. "My. . . Back!" He managed to spit out over his clenched teeth.

Jason then realized what had happened.

"Jiwe." He quickly realized. That's what they called this. . . Beast. Seeing that it had no known name, nor did it have a mythology 'tale' that the Athena kids found out.

Percy gasped, then let out a muffled cry in Jason's knee. His back exploded into a million sharp shards of ice, making the skin beneath raw and bloody.

Bloody dribbled from Percy's mouth, and his eyes were wide open. "Jason." He said, attempting to sit up.

"Don't sit up idiot!" He exclaimed, immediately helping the boy back down. Percy winced, "The walls. They aren't stone." Jason nodded, Percy started to continue.

"They iron. Disney Iron." He told him, Jason struggled to stifle a laugh. It was a ridiculous name, but it surprisingly fit.

But that didn't mean that Jason wouldn't laugh at it. After all, do people laugh at a funny poster just because it had a cat on it, or because of the words the poster said?

"I need you to run, on 3 okay?" Percy demanded, "I'm not leaving you!" Jason shot back.

Percy sighed, "Jason, I've been put in lava before. And survived! Listen, I will defeat this monster! We have to get that book!" Percy told the blonde, putting his hands firmly in his shoulders.

"What about your back?" Jason said, tears started to form in his eyes. Percy smirked, "Disney Iron holds a great deal of water. It's just in the base. It hardens then turns to water." Percy said, "3!" He shouted.

Percy pushed Jason out of the way, and fire sprung through the hole on the wall. Jason's eyes widened, Percy looked at him. "Go!" He screamed, taking out Riptide.

Jason felt no need but to follow his command. He got to his feet shakily, and he ran.

He ignored the screams and roars. Tears running down his cheeks. And the floor was melting the bottom of his shoes to the ground. What was happening?!

"Don't move!" He heard Percy shout. Jason froze, not daring to look behind himself. A roar was heard, and a crash was followed. It shook the ground, making Jason's shoes unstick.

He tumbled to the ground. "What are you doing?!" Percy exclaimed, picking him up by the arm. "Ow!" Jason said, the walls were started to move. "It's going to land on us!" Percy shouted panicked. The walls were slowly sinking in.

"Go there!" Jason shouted to him, pointing to a door. It was a plain, oak, door. No windows, but it was better they get out of this place.

Percy took all of his energy and threw themselves through the door. It opened easily, and both of them sprawled across the ground.

"I see you've past my new monsters." A deep voice said, "Hello boys," a voice said, the darkened room had quickly gained light. Revealing a face.

Percy gasped, Jason's eyes widened. "Hephaestus?!" Jason shouted.

The god laughed. "Yes. Glad you know my name, Roman." He said, then he glanced at Percy. "Quite injured are we? No problem. There's more injuries where that came from." He whispered, snapping his fingers.

In the dark, gold metal glowed slightly. Icy blue eyes looked at the two. No emotions, and a clink of chains grew near.

"Boys. Meet Castellan. Another one of me monsters." He said smoothly, then, the room became bright.

The lights nearly blinding.

And Castellan looked at the two.

Percy gasped, his ribs aching as he did.

"Luke." He whispered, looking at him.

His blonde hair was longer, blue eyes looking firmly at them. A smirk had faded, and a permanent frown took its place.

He was covered in golden armor, faded and erased in some places, like his chest, and the scar he had on his face. . . It was small compared to the new scar on his chest.

"We meet again." Luke answered, his eyes looked at Jason. "This time. I'll kill you." Luke said, staring directly at Percy. Percy started to tremble. His voice was deeper, it sounded like Kronos' voice again!

"Luke! Please." Percy managed to whisper. "Silence!" Luke shouted, "Now. Time for us to play." He said, sneering at Jason.

Jason was looking at Luke.

Wasn't he Percy's secret ex?

And wasn't he, oh I don't know, dead?!
