"Gatorade, Gatorade, I bought me some Gatorade!" Percy sang loudly. He laughed at himself as he swung his arms around. Kicking his feet, the raven haired boy grabbed a banana and dramatically reached out to the 6-pack blue Gatorade.

"I bought you, and I'll drink youuu!" He continued. He wore a full smile and swung his hips.

Grocery bags huddled on the counter top of the run down kitchen. They acted as his audience as he danced around the tile floors. He took his shoes off and checked the backyard gate. With his socks, he moon-walked to the fridge.

Percy yanked a photo off the fridge. A magnet clashed into the ground and Percy tightened his grip on the old photo. It was folded a few times too many, leaving white lines the shape of a plus sign in the middle of the photo.

The picture was of him and Jason. Jason's waist was wrapped in Percy's arms, and his cheek rested on the side of Percy's head. The picture was a little blurry, and both of them looked exhausted in it.

"Back to serenading the groceries!" Percy announced. The grapes on the counter were not amused.

"And OJ you're amazing! Just not as a Simpsonnnn, oh yeahhh!!" Percy spun and hit a rockstar pose. He grabbed the orange juice and cradled it to his chest. He rocked it and then it accidentally dropped to the floor.

"Aw shit, Mister Orange Juice!" Percy gasped out. He fell to his knees and did a dramatic pose. Like if a heart broken lover clutching onto her dying soulmate.

Jason chose this time to open the door and enter the kitchen. He paused, readjusting his glasses with a confused look on his face. He took a minute to blankly stare at his boyfriend before talking.

"Hey... are you serenading the groceries again?"

There was a long pause.

"Maybe."

Jason's body shook as he suppressed a laugh. He fought a wide grin and looked away.

"Percy," he managed to get out. "I thought– I thought you stopped serenading the groceries."

Percy got off of his knees. He coughed with a red face. The son of Poseidon placed the orange juice on the stove top.

Jason rolled his eyes, still keeping his smile.

"Well go on, grocery singer, don't let me stop you."

Percy's face lit up. His smile softened as he looked up at Jason.

"Really?"

"Duh," Jason held up a bag and took out a bundle of celery. "I brought more groceries for you to use in your dramatic monologues too."

"I love you so much."
