Percy walked down the streets slowly. His knuckles White as he clenched them into his uniform pocket. The uniform made him feel heavy. Like there was a million pound weight on his shoulders.

But at the same time, it made him scared. Scared of the memories he had while there.

His nose engulfed the scent of rain. Wet grass and concrete mixing to creating an almost comforting rainy day.

The patter of the rain drove on. Puddles quickly forming, and his uniform getting soaked.

The wind blew gently, as if not wanting to push over the fragile soldier. Preserving the shell of a man as he stumbled down the sidewalk.

He blocked out the people around him. His motivation on two people.

His mother, and Annabeth.

Annabeth was the only person he had ever kissed. Ever watched Finding Nemo until 3 AM with, and his only girlfriend he had ever had.

It made him smile at the thought of seeing her again. Smelling the fresh scent of lemon that she used in her shampoo. Feel her body against his.

Percy sighed, the hat on his head dampened by the weather.

Slowly, he got to her apartment. Knowing where the extra key was, he looked under the small plastic rock she laid by a cart of flowers.

Below, there lay a golden key. Percy smiled, bingo.

Taking the key, he quickly unlocked the door. Opening it to a heart wrenching scene.

Annabeth was sitting in the table. Her shirt unbuttoned, hair messy, and pants to the ground. Her hips were being hugged by a pair of arms, which weren't his.

Her neck containing hickeys from her new lovers mouth.

"Ann-Annabeth?" He stammered, shocked. Annabeth's face turned bright red, looking at the woman who backed away.

The Cherokee teen looked at both of them.

"Um, hi? Why are you in my girlfriends house?" She asked, clearly confused at the boy's presence. Percy looked at Annabeth again, her frame trembled.

Her eyes leaked tears.

"Percy." She gasped, hands flying to her mouth. The blonde just as surprised as Percy was, but for different reasons.

"Girlfriend?" Percy questioned, his heart started to crack. Shattering as Annabeth stared at her socks.

"I'm so sorry." She whimpered, and Percy's eyes hardened. His voice quickly turning cold.

"No, you aren't." He told her, leaving the room as quickly as he could. His mind was blank, and heart heavy. He didn't know where to go– he and Annabeth shared that apartment after all.

Her betrayal left a bitter taste in his mouth. Anger soon dying down as he walked down the sidewalk. The weather clearing up, but his uniform was still damp.

He sighed, glancing at the wet bench to his left. Sitting down, he rubbed his right thigh. His hands going over his prosthetic, then quickly going back to massage what he had left of the leg.

Then, his phone rang.

Picking it up, Percy looked at the caller ID.

It was Jason. That blond idiot.

But, even so, Percy smiled. The picture of the two made him smile wider. He was on Jason's back, hanging onto his neck. Jason was smiling, his glasses crooked on his nose, and almost to the tip of his reddened nose.

Snow covered the ground around him and Percy's hair was covered by a floppy, yellow hat. The neon color of the hat seemed to stand out as the snowflakes danced in the background.

Jason was smirking, his coat buttons starting to be placed undone by Percy's gloved hands.

He remembered it like it was yesterday. And the caller ID, reading Snowflake made him chuckle. It was kinda cheesy.

Picking it up, he placed his phone to his ear.

"PERCYYY!!!" Jason screamed in the phone, excitement flowing out his mouth. Percy started to laugh. "It's me, snowflake." He answered, a blush appearing over both the teens cheeks.

"You're back!" Jason stated enthusiastically. "Yep." Percy answered shortly.

Jason sensed a mood change.

"You okay?" The blond questioned. Percy shook his head, "No." He whispered.

Jason exhaled sharply. "Where are you?" He asked, his voice on edge. "I'm finding you as we speak." And then Jason hung up, leaving Percy in silence.

Jason, he thought, I need you
