    carter is probably one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet. he doesn't seem like it at first, but once you pick through a hard exterior he is very kind. he is never mean, but he keeps his feelings about people, as well as his emotions, inside him until he feels that he can really trust someone. carter isn't really a jokester, which is a bit odd since he is best friends with the funniest kid in school. He can joke around, but his kind of comedy is more sarcastic than jokey. (i think i just made that word.)
carter is the kind of kid in school that doesn't really have a normal label. he will hang out with anyone that he thinks will be nice and is worthy of his trust. he isn't popular, but he isn't one of the 'weirdos' either. he just goes with the flow and just tries to figure out life as it comes to him. he learned at an early age that planning out your future doesn't really work out all that well.
     carter is, while being a very smart kid, a pretty artsy dude as well. he loves photography and he just has this aesthetic about him. this might be why he doesn't get all that many girls. he isn't your usual jock that many girls see themselves with, even though he does still workout and play a sport. but carter doesn't mind all that much because he does understand that things happen when they happen. and he has a pretty high standard for girls that he would date.

     carter is solid as a rock. he has a thick skin and doesn't let people get to him. he doesn't really give a shit about how other people see him. he is also very charming with adults, so if he gets a girl to somehow like him, which doesn't happen super often, he is great with the parents. carter is just a nice guy who people either love or hate. he can be seen as weird sometimes, but he is really just a softie.

     carter, while he takes criticism well, isn't the greatest when it comes to people who talk about him behind his back. he hates when people are disloyal and he doesn't like giving people second chances. some people are too forgiving, carter is just too analytical. he doesn't think people can change all that much because of the original temptations. he is very analytical with everything, which makes him a little emo when it comes to his feelings. when he is feeling upset he just closes himself off, so he doesn't have to tell anyone about it.

backstory ═ ∘♡༉∘ ═
carter was born a twin to his brother jake, and has an older sister named sandy. he had two parents who went through fighting spells, but they always got through it and worked it out. carter and jake were both very advanced children, and it would later be learned that their IQ was very high and they were, in basic terms, geniuses, you can say. carter has always been a bit smarter than jake, but they never got to the age that they would tease each other for it. when carter was 5, and sandy 8, the family got into a car crash and jake died. the family kind of fell apart then, as their father left suddenly a week after the crash. carter now lives in a small apartment with his mom, who is a low paid nurse who just recently got the job. sandy is off at college for dance.
