Maciek POV

It's awfully early, pale dawn, after six in the morning. I wanted to drink terribly and I had to get up from the nice, warm bed. Yesterday I learned of the Criminal Code to late hours. I'm going to the kitchen for water. I drank one glass gulp standing over the sink, the second take back into the room.

Passing Jin's room I heard as if something fell and broke up. I pricked ears but heard nothing more. I thought that I heard something wrong. I opened the door to my bedroom and I was already one foot on the doorstep when I heard the rumor turning of furniture. I had no doubt that something is happening at Jin's room. I put the glass quickly on the desk and wolked to his door.

- Jin? - I knocked.

Nothing. Silence.

- Jin, are you okay? - I repeated.

Silence.

I opened the door. What I saw it as a scene from a disaster movie or drama about a dying man who is dying at this moment.

Jin was lying unconscious on the floor next to the cabinet. The chair was hanging dangerously over him and could fall at any time. Beside him was laying the phone with still visible text written in his Asian language. Near the desk were laying broken glass and scattered pills in a puddle of orange juice.

After first shock I approached him. I picked up the chair, that it can not to cause further damages. I did not know what to do next.

- Jin? - Gently touched his shoulder.

He does not react. He rolled onto his back. I noticed that he hurt his head and bleeding terribly. And what now? At that moment, I regretted that I did not pay attention to the lessons of first aid in high school. I was not sure what I can do, and what not, to don't worsen his condition.

Suddenly, there was an annoying beeping. I looked around for the source of the sound. My eyes fell on his watch, as if thinking, on the left hand Jin. Beside beeping it was lighting to red. I took his hand gently and looked at the 'watch's'. display There was a lot of digits. After a moment of recollection I figured it out that this 'something' shows the function of Jin's life: pulse, blood pressure and temperature. And now everything is dropping!

I started to panic. I reached for his phone lying next to me and called the 112.

- I need an ambulance. Man after 20, unconscious with head's wound. - I say quickly the information they need. I gave the address, told to hurry up and I hung up.

- Hold on Jin. - I whispered, looking at the pale face of my roommate.

I don't know from but suddenly Jackson appeared.

- Get out from my way! - He yelled at me and pushed away from Jin.

He began his first aid.

- Call the ambulance.

- I've already done that. They will be soon. - I answered automatically.

Then everything start happening at the speed of light.

Jackson POV

I left the bathroom, only in a towel around my hips. Yesterday was a very thought day. I was tired and went to sleep right away, did not even have a bath. I went to the closet for clothes. When I put pants and was looking for t-shirts I heard some annoying and very conspicuous sound. In the first impulse, I did not know what it was and I decided to ignore it, but it was not easy. When I was fully dressed, I wanted to watch TV, but the sound was disturbed me further.

Something inspired me, and I reached for the phone. Oh no! The display had an alert sent from synchronized Jin's pulseoximeter. I found this devise on some foreign site and immediately bought it. Two days ago I handed it to Jin. Recently, he felt a little worse, and did not let me help you. Therefore, I wanted to somehow have control over it. The device continuously monitors vital functions and when they begin to fall dangerously inform me.

Without another moment of thought, I grabbed a jacket and a rundown of the apartment. I ran as fast as I can. I do not live so far away from Jin. About fifteen minutes leisurely a stroll. Now in such a rush I'll be there in five. Along the way, I call to Mark drove up to the house of my friend, because probably we will have to go to the hospital, I have a bad feeling about this.

I'm already at the Jin's block of flats. I see that Mark pulls into the parking lot. It gives him know not to put out the car.

After the two steps run up to the second floor I open the door with the key. Jin gave me keys to the apartment just for such situations. He protested a little, but who has not give up about my gift of persuasion.

I walk into Jin's room and for a moment I lose my breath. I didn't expect so bad state. Jin is terribly pale and bleeding from the head. Broken and helpless Maciek kneeling beside him and nods. What are you doing?! Even here can be heard the obnoxious alarm of oximeter.

- Get out from my way! – I yelled at him. He obediently moves.

I check Jin's breathing and pulse – they are weak!

After first-aid I tells Maciek to call an ambulance. He says that he did it and soon they will be there.

That's right. There do not pass three minutes and to the room walked paramedics with a stretcher and the rest of the needed equipment.

They ask what is happening. Maciek says everything. I add that Jin suffers from narcolepsy and what medicines he take.

They put on him neck brace and an oxygen mask. They put dressing on his head. After a while a squeak of Jin's oximeter fades. Slowly his condition stabilizes. Paramedics transport him onto a stretcher and took of from the apartment. I run after them. Mark is waiting in readiness in the car. I ask to which hospital they taking him and jumps into the car.

We were ready to go, when we feel that someone is getting to another seat.

- I am going with you. - said Maciek.

After a momentary shock, Mark starts with a squeal of tires behind the ambulance.
