The fact that he said that... I couldn't bring myself to ask him anything else. We both agreed that we needed to get some sleep.

Of course, I didn't actually get any sleep. I store at my wall the entire night.

Come the next morning, nobody had the guts to ask about what happened because Percy was up in time for breakfast. And it was a good thing he was awake, because we got a knock on the door at like 8:30. Which wasn't normal. So Micah went to check on it.

"Can I help you?" Micah asked this group of... They we're intimidating. I'll put it at that. All around our age.

"Possibly." The blondie said, which could mean a lot of things. Coming from a blond and all. "Is Percy here? Percy Jackson?"

"What's it to you?"

"We're his friends, dipshit," the scary one (most buff) wasn't taking that shit. "Is he here or not? Nico is the one that gave us this address. It's his dorm cabin thing, yeah?"

"Oh uh... Yeah, hold on." Micah wasn't about to question her. "PERCY! THERE'S SCARY PEOPLE AND A BLOND CHICK HERE FOR YOU!"

The blond turned red.

"I'd keep your mouth shut if you want to keep it, Micah." Percy suggested. "That blond is the scariest and smartest person I know."

I noticed he was dressed in all black. And so we're the others... They we're pretty dressed up, too.

So naturally, we followed them after they left. We wanted to find out what he did on his 18th birthday.

He went to Camp Half-Blood and we to in. The four of us. Because the entire place was... Quiet.

We managed to find out way to the... To the memorial service.

Everyone there was our age and within a few years of us. And we we're looking at the little things for each person being remembered because we had time before Percy was going to make some speech. And we ran across one that... I mean for Bohdi, it hit home.

Bohdi had an older brother that he doesn't really talk about because he ran away. He was 7, almost 8 when he ran away. So he remembers him. Bohdi and Alex being my cousins and all, it hit close to home for me, too. Because when he came up with his mom, he was the cool one. When we got the call that he left... He was Bohdi's half brother. Same mom, different dad.

"Hey, Bohdi," Micah was the one to notice his name. Not that it said he was dead. "Luke's name is on here."

"Seriously?" The three of us jumped at that, and we walked over to look at what he was pointing at.

"Yeah, maybe he's here." Alex was hopeful. We all have been. Luke was tough. He could make it.

But uh... He didn't. He was on the list of the deceased. Luke Castellan. Son of Hermes.

And then it clicked.

"Wait," I remarked, earning their attention. "That means Percy knew him."

We walked over to Percy, who was in mid-conversation with a satyr.

"I don't know what to do about him, Grover." Percy told the satyr, who I'm assuming was named Grover. "We sent May an invitation and notice for his funeral, the wake, the memorial, last year's memorial, and this year's. And her husband and their kid. None of them have shown. None of them have responded. His grandparents are dead. I don't know about any other family because it was a pain in the ass to just find May, much less others. So like... Chiron wants his body out of here and I don't blame him. It's the only one we have here still. But if they're not going to respond, and they won't bury him on Olympus..."

"I never got..."

"Sorry to be an asshole and eavesdrop and all." I intrude on the conversation. "But Luke who?"

"Luke Castellan," Perch answered my question. "He was a camper until he died and because he ran away it was a pain in the ass to find his mom and we've done everything we can. Nobody has responded. We're at a loss with where he's going to be buried right now, that's what we're talking about. Why?"

Our expressions... They dropped.

Luke was our cousin. Percy knew him, but I don't think he knew a last name. So by the time we were 8... Four years later, he didn't make a connection or something.

"You knew him?" Alex questioned, and Percy nodded his head like that was nothing.

"Well, yeah..." The son of Poseidon sensed something was off. "I mean, other people knew him a lot better. But he was my friend, my counselor and teacher my first summer here."

"And you were still living with Gabe?" I asked, knowing the answer was going to hurt to hear.

"I... Kind of." He told us, scanning our expressions as the satyr walked over to someone else. "I mean, he was at home and I went home once before he left. I want here, though. What does it matter? You guys would've gotten along with him great, but I mean, he's... He's gone."

He was having a hard time coping with that. Our place was about to become a sob house.

"Remember when we were little." I tried to bring back the memories. "And my aunt would come up with my cousins from Connecticut and then my uncle came over from Queens and the three of us always played together and my older cousin was like a total badass but he was really cool because he played with us?"

"I... Vaguely." Percy answered my question. "Why?"

"That was Luke." I explained, tearing up was the others already had. "He... That's why Aunt May stopped coming around. Luke ran away in the middle of night one day and we haven't seen him since and..."

Percy's face fell and something happened inside of him that just broke him the moment Bohdi confirmed it for him.

"He was my older brother." Bohdi explained why he was here now. "Mom went batshit crazy, and sent me to live up in New York. She's still waiting for him and.. and he's not..."

Percy ran off in the other direction. We called our parents. Put them all on speaker. Because they need to know.

My dad was first to answer, then Uncle Evan, and then Aunt May. Evan and my dad were at the same place, so that made that easier.

But I mean, Bohdi was... He couldn't even speak. We had went into a more private area.

"Hey, guys," they we're all in good mood, too. Which made this worse. "What's up?"

We told them to sit down. We had news.

"Is it good news?" Evan asked us and that's when Bohdi lost his ability to speak. Micah was trying to assure him. Trying.

"Um," I was deemed the one to tell them the news. "Well, we found Luke."

They jumped at that, insisting that was amazing news. Asking where he was and what he's been up to.

"Yeah, um..." I felt like shit² right now. "He hasn't been up to a whole lot. He's... He's dead. He survived running away but after that... We don't know what happened. It doesn't say and we haven't been told what exactly happened. But it's been like tell her and...I mean, Percy was the one who told us. He didn't realise it was the same guy and... He's dead."
