It wasn't long after me and my mother returned, that my father summoned me to the throne room. He was sitting tall on his throne as he always did. Still with that signature look of hatred in his eyes.

"Your mother has informed me that the marriage proposal was a success."

     "Yes father."

"And this princess' kingdom has plenty of money to offer?"

     "Yes father."

"Good. You've chosen well, son. You're finally understanding what it's like to be a king."

"Thank you father." I say with a small bow of respect. My father was actually proud of me for something. Zand the adrenalin I felt from it could almost be compared to the adrenalin I felt when I watched Amori save me. Almost. But not quite the same.

Me and my father were sat in the throne room talking about wedding plans, when my mother rushed in hysterical.

"The princess is missing! They say she's been kidnapped by a stable boy!"

"Amoris missing?" I ask jumping to my feet from my throne. And my mother screams so loud you'd think it was her own child missing. I didn't stay to listen to her rambling. I ran out of the castle jumping on my horse and commanding a small group of knights to follow me.

A stable boy had kidnapped Amori. MY Amori. The fact that another man thought he could lay a hand on her was absurd. Let alone that man being a lowly stable boy. The audacity surprised me. But my own jealousy surprised me more.

Another man had Amori. And the very thought of him even looking at her filled me with a rage that could end the Roman armies. I tried to calm myself, but the longer I thought about them the stronger the rage became. My mind was full of nothing but thoughts of killing this stable boy. Killing him for even thinking he was worth a glimpse of my princess.

I sped into the forest on my horse, my men following close behind. Im going to find this stable boy. And I'm going to kill him.
