To search Soobin's inner world and look for the last piece of Yeonjun that could lead us to him, I had to bring Soobin back into a deep sleep. That's how he could help us without making him fall back into the endless sorrow... hopefully... if everything goes well. 

We brought the water fairy to the place of car accident, the place where this world felt Yeonjun's essence and its pulsating warmth for the last time. I sat down in the moss and leaned towards the tree behind me. Then Kai put Soobin into my arms and I hugged him. 

"If something seems off, call me. I'll hear you," my voice weakened. 

"I will... just be careful." 

My eyes ran over Huening Kai's face before I nodded slightly being a little bit uncertain. 

"Don't worry, my Muse. You're the greatest Magician after all," he added with kindness to support me. 

"Don't exaggerate... I still have a lot to learn," I objected with a faint smile. 

"That's how I see you. Does my heart exaggerate?" 

That softened playfulness hidden in the corners of his lips... His great heart saw even little things as majestic ones, as if it observed miracles through a magnifying glass. I was already the greatest in Amor's eyes and thanks to that, in such moments, I really became one. 

"I don't have to answer that," I mumbled to myself, quietly blushing and looking at the sleeping beauty whom I pulled closer to my chin. 

"You don't," Hyuka chuckled softly. "Just go. I'll watch over you." 

No other words were needed. One slow blink turned my irises into sparkling lavender and I leaned my lips to Soobin's ear. 

"Attentive Archer, I come with the purest intentions... Take me to your blue secret, the forgotten diary of two..." 

My existence smoothly dived into the deepest abyss... and emerged in the ocean of pansies, painted with the colors of loving memories and thoughts. Soobin's love recognized me, embraced me with breezy harmony, dancing around in circles of tiny purple petals. 

I turned around looking for the twin flame bond, my steps placed in the middle of this blue and white flowery carpet. 

Where are you? 

Suddenly, my heart leapt over the distanced view. It seemed like forever... 

I felt the fiery warmth melting my lips into a delighted smile. 

"Yeonjun!" I exclaimed... shouted his name at least three times, waving and jumping on the spot, flooded with that bright feeling of momentary pure happiness. 

It took me a while until the awareness hit my fingertips with frosty touch. 

The silhouette did not move at all. 

... and so my heart missed a beat in awe. 

"Yeonjunie..." 

I hesitatingly stepped forward. 

That was when I could finally hear the growing wail of pansies, those were preserving and repeating the words Soobin clung to on that fateful morning... just like that, their violet tears stuck on my soles. 

"I don't understand it... What the hell is this freakin' absurd nightmare...? I don't understand... I don't-... not at all... Just what the hell does that mean...?" the beautiful flower faces lamented, their echoing voices creating a disharmonious song that was bringing worried glaze into my eyes. 

I anxiously ran them over the figure in front of me... 

Bare feet drowned in a pond of white purity... batiked with purple eternal peace and credibility. Enchanting eyes closed under the weight of innerbloom seal that already bloomed into the whole tremendous crown covering the bowed head. 

No... 

Drop... drop. 

"What- What if I killed it?" 

"Killed what, sweetheart?" 

"One of the last things left of him... To save Soobin's sanity... Kai... I- I locked his memories of Yeonjun... 

... I locked them... into his subconscious. What if his love dies there, Kai?" 

Just then I fully realized the cut on the throat... the bond, which I wanted to use so I could talk to Yeonjun, was bleeding... purple blood ran down his fingers, dropping into this lake of mixed emotions. 

No... It can't be. 

I rushed to the Yeonjun's souvenir and raised his chin to scan his calm face. 

"What is this expression? Just tell me... I reject to believe that you left us here just like that. There must be something," I whispered to him trembling... then gulped, as I was quickly searching his white clothes soaked up with violet maps. 

Please... 

"You wanted to save us, you promised it... so help me to find you," I tried hard to not fall into the despair chasing my breath. "Jun..." 

Falling to my knees I grabbed his motionless calves and looked up at him in prayer. 

"Please, everyone dies if I won't bring you back. Just let me help you, we will find a way together. It's not like only Soobin or you have to carry the burden of prophecy on your own. It's a task for all of us. You can rely on-" 

I noticed something glisten in his other hand... I didn't pay attention to this one before. I reached for the bloody wrist and opened the palm. 

There was a small glass ball in it. 

"-me," I gasped and immediately got to my feet. 

I caught the ball between two fingers and held it up against the light of consciousness to observe it. 

No... it isn't glass, it is a crystal. 

"It's an oracle one." I enthusiastically glanced at Yeonjun's face, ready to open my third eye that was able to read the message hidden in the ball. 

The text lit up right before my eyes. 

The junction is carried on butterfly wings, follow it. 

Junction? 

"... but several directions lead from the junctions. How should I choose the right one?" I spoke again to the figure confused, as if Yeonjun could hear me. He couldn't, the connection was dead. He had to left this note here, before he decided to leave. 

Several ways leading from one spot... crossroad... butterfly... 

"Like the butterfly effect?" I thought out loud, but it didn't quite make sense. The theory was about how even little movements can have a huge impact. Maybe it was the little decisions that brought me here, but now we were facing a real big deal - I can't rely on simple chance, success must be certain. 

My eyes were lost in the beautiful floral crown that Beomgyu had put on this serious situation. 

Drop... drop. 

Butterfly wings... the lure of blue butterfly. 

Drop. 

"I got it! Beomgyu! Beomgyu also told us about the butterfly! Is that it?" 

That was when I clearly heard it. The flutter of fragile wings. 

With sudden jingly lure, pansies drunk the light turning it into yellow hope... without hesitation I grabbed the lead and woke up in Soobin's body.

Sleepily looking around I really noticed a butterfly lingering around our heads... but unlike the non-disappearing sharp sound that was alike a knife to this pair of sensitive ears, Kai was gone. 

The only thing left behind was his white feather I spotted on the ground - he had to fly away in a hurry. Something serious must have happened, because he wouldn't leave us without a proper reason. 

I picked the feather up and looked to the way we came here... then to my abandoned body laid down nearby. Although I wanted to think it through and try to contact Kai before leaving it here without any protection, the lure was too loud for me to focus... and I couldn't afford to lose it. 

The feather slipped from water fairy's fingers... 

... keeping him unconscious in the corner of his mind, I led us to the key spot.

!!! I did it! XD I'm literally living my freefall chapter past months, and this week it was extra exhausting and stressful tbh. My braincells are dying fr, my friends would confirm that... I was really desperate because omg... how can I write Taehyun without my brain working? T^T and I am so close to the end of this stage of txt story... you even gave me so much support last week I felt so bad I couldn't write it a bit sooner. So... Uhh... I'm glad it's done hehe... at least this is the longest chapter so far!
